As a Big Carpetbagger Enthusiast and a life long Fan of Jacob I decided to check out your channel because you are always so Pleasant and Cheery in his videos. This is why I hoard my son's Thomas the train collection. I was born in 77, my brothers in 80 and 84. The amount of toys we had in this video is insane. Mom gave them away at yard sales as we outgrew them. She didn't like keeping anything. It hurts my wallet watching these vids but it brings back lots of memories.

@@jennypennyyoutube oh that is so heartbreaking! 😢 Why do parents do that? 😢 I was raised by my maternal Grandparents who I called Mom & Dad. My Mom (Grandmother) NEVER threw away, or gave away, any of my toys! Thank goodness! I still have the Barbie & Ken dolls that, I played with, as a kid! I feel so sad, when I read or hear about parents getting rid of their kids toys, comic books, etc. 😢 But, on the bright side, as adults we can buy & enjoy whatever toys we like! I still collect Barbies! I also collect Disney dolls and toys! I love Build a Bear 🐻 plushies. I still get beanie babies and other plushies that I love! 😊 💜 💜 💜 We all need something in our lives that brings us tr joy! 🤗 💜 💜 💜

I'm glad you got a chance to go to Big Fun! I love how they set up their displays. Just wish the parking was better in that area. The big green guy at 4:00 is Abomination, an enemy of the Hulk. That figure is so heavy!

Thats a monchichi and it's origins are Japanese. I think they were based of tv characters. Loved them!

Watching some of your past videos. I share your love for the Care Bears. I had some figures - both large and small back in the 80s. Surprised my parents didnt but me an actual Care Bear stuffed animal. I think I had a plastic lunch box. I had a picture Disc record too. My boyfriend bought me a Care Bear shirt at Target a few months ago. My favorite Care Bears are still Funshine or Tenderheart Bear.

Hi Jen , I know you come to Hamilton Ontario cause you live not too far , we have an epic store here called Bounty Hunter toys that sells vintage toys BNIB and out of box similar to this shop. You should definitely come back with Jacob. I believe there are a couple vintage toy stores in the city

Hi Jenn, I enjoyed your video and enjoyed seeing all the cool toys. I love the Care Bears lunch box. I think the toy is a monchhichi. The face looks similar to a small one that I have from my childhood. I looked it up and it’s a line of Japanese stuffed monkey toys created in 1974. Mattel had the license until 1985.

I had lots of fun, going shopping at this place, with you and Jacob! I live in Southern California and I don't think that I will make it to this toy store, any time soon. (I have many health issues and am partially disabled, which makes travel difficult.) So, I love it when you find this amazing toy stores, that I wish that I could get to. lol I loved seeing all of my childhood toys, in one place! lol I love the Care Bear lunch box you found, and I am glad that your Riddler was not identical to the one you already own! It is a "bonus" Riddler! 😁 💜 💜 💜

Funny you mention the wanting the big GI Joes to play with Barbies, over here we called them Action Man and I had several as a kid (even ended up randomly on a test panel for Prototype ones) and I'd nick my Sister Barbie Corvette for him to go Racing and the little bottles and the like for supplies.

Interesting story about my Furby. I had put on my mother's shoulder it freaked her out and she threw it across the living room. Hit makes contact with the wall and starts going haywire. Making a loud sound like it was screaming in pain.

Chase Variant is the type of Funkos that come in different colors or styles and are limited. It's a variant you have to chase for!

Time for you and Jacob to expand your pop culture knowledge beyond the 80s. Those astronaut toys? Major Matt Mason, Mattel's Man in Space. Huge toy line on the late 60s, at the height of the Apollo era. Amazing toys, amazing add ons and vehicles, including a glider that actually flew with MMM as the ballast, and a moonbase complex. So much of the line was based on actual NASA and NASA related research.
