I'm not a pro. I currently compete in amatuer MMA, was an amatuer boxer, and a former corrections officer for the state of Missouri. I met the CEO of SlapFight at an MMA match and he's seen me fight a few times. My debut match in MMA, I fought for two and a half rounds with a broken nose. The ref stopped the fight after I got cut over my eye in conjunction with my nose being broken and later finding out I had broken my occipital bone just below my right eye.

@Bh. Ad I'm not really trying to justify, just clarifying and giving general facts. Part of why SlapFight asked me to come down and try it out was because of how well I did in that fight I talked about. The CEO of SlapFight also ran promotions for several other MMA promotions and he's offered several times to help me out setting up fights cuz I'd like to have a belt one day to hang on my wall, even if it's just an amatuer one, just to say for a moment in time I was really good at it. I fought 13 ammy fights boxing and never got a shot at any title so MMA and SlapFight really rekindled my love for combat sports. A big part of me really likes SlapFight because despite the fact there will always be someone who is willing to jump up and use the weight card to make fun of me or anyone else, it's nice once in a while to see bigger guys get props for being tough and doing things most people don't expect for someone our size and that probably stems from being made fun of a lot when I was younger just because I've never been small or skinny, even when I was boxing or played football in high school.

Personally I wouldn't have enough hands to cover both my eyes and my ears when these giants throw down haha. The reaction you display just mirrors the actual intensity of these battles and what these athletes can put their bodies through, which has made us all huge fans. Big fan of MMA for the same reasons so big respect to you too and wish you all the best!

The thing about frank is he kept his head still while getting slapped. Highlander lessened every blow by moving his face every time he was hit which stopped the full force. They need to close their eyes when getting slapped so they dont instinctively move away from the blows.
