Donghae: cute, skillful, yet manly...yup, that is him

The female who dance with Eunhyuk in Evanesce is a profesional dancer, they later became friend. They have the dance part in the music shows live version. She is awesome. In the mv and every live performances, she taped her shoes to her foot so she can dance safely without er highheels pooping out. hahaha. safety over fashion guys!

I love how you kept replaying the dance break with eunhyuk and the girl (who's actually just a dancer not an idol) because it's been YEARS since the song came out and no one's ever gotten over that dance, I still replay it every time... to this day.

So now you see why we said you needed to watch "This is Love" and "Evanesce" together. :D "This is Love" and "Evanesce" were the opposite sides of a love story. "This is Love" is about how happy you are when you are in love, and "Evanesce" is the sad side of the story about slowly forgetting about your love after you have broken up. During "This is Love" it was supposed to be depicting the part of a relationship where you are happy and in love. But in "Evanesce" that MV is showing how happiness may not always last and sometimes you end up breaking up. The girl fell out of love or didn't feel as passionately about them as they did about her. Like many relationships you start out in love thinking you are going to be together forever (Like what is shown in "This is Love"), but eventually things change and you end up breaking up (Like you see in "Evanesce"). Super Junior is an OG group from SM, so of course all the members have amazing vocals. That's just what SM is known for. At this point you shouldn't even be surprised anymore. Name one member of SM that can't sing. LOL In "Evanesce" the members were in the same room but the room looked as though no one had been there for a long time. Evanesce means "to fade away or to leave your sight or memory." So the song is about how they are slowly forgetting about their love and they are sad to be losing the memory of being in love. That is why Eunhyuk is dancing with that girl, and it is almost as if she is a spirit or ghost of a past memory. They go back to the place where they remember being in love hoping to recapture that love and to try and hold on to those memories, but they find that as time has passed nothing is the same any more, and like their memories, even the room has been neglected and forgotten about. Yes, Yesung is not in these MVs because at this time he was still serving in the military. So that is one reason why you saw Heechul covering some of the main vocal parts in "Evanesce." Now you need to see SuJu perform "Evanesce" live in concert. Their live harmonies will blow you away. ;D "Evanesce" live is the perfect example of how even SuJu's rappers could be main vocalists. And in concert Heechul even filled in for Yesung's main vocal parts in some of their songs.

Fun fact, "Devil" and "Magic" were released in 2015, so Shindong and Sungmin did not participate in these songs because they had just enlisted in the military. This also happens to be the last MVs where we see KangIn as a member of Super Junior as well. But he will always and forever be a member of SuJu, so you should get to know him as well. Side note: KangIn is a stage name and it means strong one, so he is known for his strength. If you like fun story-based MVs, similar to "Mamacita," you should check out Super Junior's original version of "Devil" as well. This has a fun storyline and it will also help you to know all the members names better because the intro to the MV introduces the members names as they describe each of their characters in the story.

The member you kept saying "I have never seen him before" is KangIn, and you HAVE seen him before. He was in several of SuJu's MVs you watched previously. He was in "Twins (Knock Out)," "U" and "Mamacita." He was the fruit seller with the long blond hair in "Mamacita." However, his presence as a member of SJ has been hit and miss over the years because he was the first to enlist in the military, so he was on hiatus for 2 years because of that and then he got in trouble for a DUI and was on hiatus for the past 4 or 5 years, and ended up officially leaving the group in 2019. And the other member who you didn't know his name was Sungmin who is the first of the SuJu members to get married, so he has been on hiatus from the group for the past 4 years and he has been focusing on his solo career for the time being. He is a lead vocalist, but could easily be considered one of the main vocalists in many of SuJu's songs.

All these songs are brilliant. Magic mv is so much fun too and they all look incredible. Donghae is my bias and I think that became clear after I saw Devil. That song is Donghae to me, I just can’t take my eyes off him either in the mv or any of the live performances. He’s just the whole package: great dancer, great voice(very distinctive vocals), amazing song writer, cute, funny, sweet, mature, loves his family and his brothers, and he’s one of the most gorgeous men on the planet. I just love that man.

Yeah, This is Love is probably my favorite song of theirs these days, but it always changes 😅. Oh and This Is Love was the love song and Evanesce is the break up song. So yeah they go hand in hand 😢. Yesss, I knew you would like This Is Love and Evanesce! They're some of my all-time favorites. Evanesce is SO good live - if you haven't already, watch the one from SS6 in Seoul (and while you're at it, Islands, Walkin', and Midnight Blues from the same show!) Devil's not normally my type of song either but it's such good vibes, I can't help but love it. Yeah, in this is love and evanesce yesung wasnt there cause of his military service, and in devil and magic, shindong served in military. This is love and evanesce mv were directed by shindong, i think the girl in evanesce was their dancer, and if I'm not mistaken the girl from magic mv was miss korea that time, idk i read that somewhere, maybe i was wrong. Actually Shindong is the top dancer. He got into SM because he got scouted i believe after he won DANCE COMPETITION. His dance been referred by juniors in SM and they always looked up to him. The other dancers would be Eunhyuk, Donghae and Hangeng (Hangyung). Hangeng was the 1st chinese idol and i dare to say because of him, foreign idols can work comfortably in S. Korea. Back then when he debuted his appearances were limited and he had to wear a mask! Super JUnior emmbers and fans protested this and finally S.Korea past a law that foreign idols can work in S.Korea. But Hangeng left Super Junior after 3rd album Sorry Sorry

Kangin is the member you mentioned not knowing. He no longer is in SJ, sadly, but if you look at all the videos from previous years you'll see him. Good vocals & damn good at entertainment. You should've watched Devil MV rather than the performance video. The MV is not very much liked but some fans from their home country so they had to make a performance video to "keep them happy", but the MV is so great and interesting. Ok, so dance ranking. The dance line originally was Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Hangeng and Sungmin with a little bit of Leeteuk in there too. As times have changed, Eunhyuk and Donghae took a more central role in the dance breaks with Eunhyuk taking the lead. Kyuhyun also started having a bigger role in the dance breaks too. However, if you watch interviews with the members, they'll often say that Shindong is the best dancer and choreographer of the group. They used to show videos of Shindong dancing to trainees. The vocal line was always classed as Yesung, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Sungmin, Kangin, and Leeteuk. But, they're all brilliant vocalists and I think KRY's stints in the military really allowed the likes of Heechul and Eunhyuk to step up as vocalists and show their abilities.

You have to find the mv for devil. Kangin and Sungmin are the 2 you asked about. Kangin has the broader shoulders. If you watch much older videos you will also notice Kibum and Hangeng. SuJu M had Henry. Zhoumi is still under SM but they won't let him in the main group. Check out solo work for Zhoumi, Hangeng, Henry and Sungmin. Kibum was on masked singer. Idk much about Kangin currently.

Kangin is the guy you keep seeing that you don't know, he was actually one of sj most popular members he was everywhere in shows really helped to make a name of suju at the beginning, he's really funny but then had 2 dui and it was over for him fans didn't like him anymore then there was a rumor of a fight he was involved in at a club at first said it was a gf then it wasn't, then it was someone else's fight so no one knows what even happened but he quit the group for that one cause it was around the time the boys were going to have a comeback after like 2 years and he just decided to leave the group.

Yes, at the start of This is Love it was from Eunhyuk. The one you've mention he's really cute is Ryeowook, one of the main vocalist of SM. And the blond one on Lt. Side is Kangin, i love his singing voice so much it's has that unique tone. At 8:17 his name is Sungmin, his voice is sooooooooooo sweet.

I want to recommend them to you as they are another 2nd gen GEM. SM has always loved mixing and matching their artists from different groups, and it results in amazing things usually. The members of SM The Ballad's first EP were Kyuhyun from SuJu, Jay from TRAX, Jonghyun from SHINee and Jino, who is now part of Pentagon. If you liked Sorry Sorry Answer, I think you will love HOT TIMES!!
