Performance exhaust not only changes the sound of a vehicle but also adds HP! BUT the best part is the sound (just be cautious of your neighbors). After installing the true dual exhaust on the Ford, all I want to do is drive it now just to hear it. IT SOUNDS SO GOOD! Hopefully this inspires you to get the exhaust done on your vehicles, I know it sure inspired me to get the Chevy done so expect that video soon. That's how my 95 F-150 5.0 sounded with open headers. I put Flow-tech long tube chrome ceramic headers and true dual 2 1/4 straight pipes with 6inch tips exiting straight out the rear no mufflers or cats. Those 6inch tips make all the difference it's 2x loud with the tips then when it was open headers. My mom and dad can hear me coming home from 5 miles away.

@@AaronCates trust me if you put tips on that are 2x the size of your pipe or larger it'll make it even louder cause it'll echo inside of the tip. Also since mine exits straight out the rear both pipes echo off each other making it even louder. I have a some videos up with the tips and a couple without them if you'd like to hear what it sounds like.

Sounds awesome! U really want loud keep the Longtubes and run even alittle smaller pipe. Do like 2 inches in the first half than back half 1 3/4 inch I know you guys might think that’s crazy and it’s to small but trust me no lie I have this setup on my 96 Chevy 350 for like 7 years never hurt the engine. has plenty of power used to have 21/2 true duals than went to this setup it has plenty of power and louder. As long as your running actual duals you actually don’t need even 21/4 for size until your making close to 450 plus horse power so try that setup if u really want loud lol

And I agree on the tips thing but I’ve tried a 6 inch tip on the back of 1 3/4 and there’s a point where it actually is quiter cause it’s to big and gets rid of a lot of crackle. 3.5 inch tips long tube headers 2 inch pipe to 13/4 is terrible loud

@@AaronCates you should go and put in a b303 ford racing cam in it with 750 up on the exhaust and 750 on the intake lift cam with a set of flowmaster 40 series installed it will sound so sweet

you need to add an H-pipe or X-Pipe it will really help the sound so it dosent have that 2 4 cylinders running noise it really smooths it together. I have true duals with H-Pipe with glass packs on my 83 460 and it sounds amazing.

Needs and x pipe to muffle that chop somewhat and fix that tractor sound. It's not bad but definitely needs 3" and go get yea a pipe bender save you a lot of headaches. Still minty though

I never understood why people run straight pipes. "Loud" isnt always good. A good sounding muffler makes the difference between sounding cheap and obnoxious to sounding amazing.

You should run 2 1/2 inch pipe up to the axle dumps then 3 inch to the end it will get rid of that nasty sounding rap and give it a good tone

Not to hate or anything but I don't understand your concept here. You got close to $5000 in wheels and tires and yet hack an exhaust together using fence post? That doesn't even match up? That makes no sense at all. You know on ebay you can get an exhaust that exits on both sides like that. Nice truck otherwise but I suggest you rethink this exhaust. If you like it thats fine but it makes the truck look cheap.
