Ah man... so you didn't imagine OG live-action Mario film? I loved that movie for the longest time as a kid, thought it was a great movie. Now I consider it to be close to a good movie. A few creature designs sucked, the setting was off, some characterizations were were incorrect, additional non-existent characters were unneeded... but the the rest was was pretty cool.

For now it's just 5 second movements with uncanny valley warping faces, but alibaba and other ai can now make videos longer than 30 seconds will realistic facial movements. Imagine a world where AI can make faces move the same as heads, feet can walk and have exactly 5 toes. Everything doesn't look like a CGI nightmare. No, seriously, that will happen in less than 5 years. You won't be able to tell AI from actual film. And that alone is frightening. And promising at the same time. With that said, this has that "feel" of the old reels. In Britain probably. In America it would have been the same just with a Mid-Atlantic accent. Great script though. Well done. Now bugger off.
