I love that the classic style has the feather detail when Mario gets the fire flower, just like from Super Mario Land 2.

Classic Mario can only take 2 hits of damage maximum, and starts a level in small form. Modern Mario can take 4 hits of damage even without a powerup, and keeps powerups throughout stages, and can preform special moves such as diving and sideflipping. Modern Mario is way easier to play as.

I’m shocked Nintendo hasn’t done a Mario generations yet. Mario meeting himself from the past and both have to work together to stop a time eater who has kidnapped both past and current Peach and now s throwing all of Mario’s old enemies at him. Maybe for Mario’s 50th anniversary lol?
