Super Mario Kart - Koopa Beach (N64 Style)

8 ай бұрынI felt like I had to fit quite a few square pegs into round holes with this mix. Firstly, most of the beach themes in Mario Kart, including 64, have steel drums playing the melody, but I found that the SNES Koopa Beach melody doesn't lend itself very well to steel drums. Secondly, I wanted to extend the song, so I added a section from the beach theme from Super Circuit, but I found that these two songs don't mesh as well as I would have liked. Simply put, SNES Koopa Beach just feels really different from the other beach music in Mario Kart. Let me know if you think this mix works!

The Shy Guy Beach / Cheep Cheep Island segment was unexpected but not unwanted, haha. Another remix accurate to the MK64 style, well done!
