Check out his original level in Super Mario Maker for Wii U (“A Game Theory”) and hit “Like” if it gets your vote. The person whose level gets the most “Likes” by September 9th, 2015 will be declared the Super Creator.

Funny how MatPatt said he despise the plumber and what is he doing? Playing his own game; Super Mario Maker! In my opinion. I think Matpat level was the most imaginative in a technicality standpoint. As well as the best usage of a limited space. Not only did it use it looping level design to it's advantage. The level design also helped in smaller minor ways that you wouldn't notice. For example. When both Jirard and the dude playing the level at the end used the cape feather. You can notice that they both hit their heads on the same block. This stops Jirard from skipping the coin message as well. It's a great usage of the looping level design. He also used the coin message to lull the player into a false sense of security as it's very reminiscent of those thank you messages at the end of those really hard mario levels. (Read: Champion's Road. Super mario 3d world.) Before surprising them with one last challenge.

The limited time and the fact that this was before release so the game wasnt even really explored at that point, so nobody knew what was possible back then and the time to find out was also not given. With these factors in mind i thinl the level was indeed really good especially compared to the other ones.

This one is definitely my favorite level of the bunch. I can really respect Jirard for going for a straight up mini Kaizo level, however it just didn't look to me like it had the right amount of difficulty for what he was trying to do, so I'd say he gets a solid second place. MatPat's level on the other hand, is _exactly_ the type of (semi)difficult, crazy looking nonsense level design I've been waiting to see ever since they showed off Mario Maker during the Nintendo World Championship last E3.

It's a shame that bias is gonna take over this contest. Yes, this level was pretty good but I prefer Strawburry's level. I haven't seen all of the videos yet, though. Most votes are just gonna be there because people like the creator, not the creation...

Linkaru I suppose, but the secrets have no meaning. in a normal Mario game, having a bunch of coins or one-ups in a hidden area would benefit the player, but since lives don't matter in this game, you could literally just kill a lakitu, take it's cloud, and fly to the exit. the only reason none of them did that was probably because they were told not to. plus, it didn't seem like the level presented any real challenge. all of the objects on the screen just presented the illusion of challenge.

Alright so ignoring the now painful branding in the level itself, down to business... The level isn't nearly as hard as the guy claims it to be. If that's all we're judging it on, then really there isn't much. Half the issue is figuring out what you're supposed to do, which isn't helped by out-of-place arrows and no actual directions until you've got it figured out. Really the only consistent difficulty is maintaining the flight at the end, otherwise it's memorization. It's exactly one room, with one way in and out, and little difficulty. Yawn.
