The "Escape Wire is not a Capture" actually refers to the very final "capture" in the game. After you've captured Bowser, you escape by entering a wire still as Bowser. For a while people counted this as a capture in Minimum Capture speedruns, but after dataminers looked into the files of the game, they found out that the game actually doesn't count the wire as a capture at all, so even though it looks like you're capturing a wire, it actually isn't a capture at all.

14:18 that's actually the sphynx (i probably spelled that wrong) which you can get moons from looking at via capturing the binocular machine thingy (idk what its called)

The motive for changing the boxart doesn't even make any sense since the Mexican themes are still in the game despite the boxart including mario with a sombrero or not. It's like showing a movie in theaters but refusing to promote it with posters because that would be too offensive. It makes literally zero sense.
