Congratulations Zeni, but I knew you could beat the record by more than 5 seconds, I told you in the live chat a few days ago. but looking at this race I think you can lower it more

I do not think this game sucks but I was never appealed enough to finish it, to me it is just that getting lost and now knowing where to go as a kid got too annoying for me so I never came close to finishing it. And I did finish childhood classics in adulthood like Ogre Battle March of the Black Queen. I even finished Zelda 2 and Ys 3 that are similar to super metroid. Came close to finishing Faxanadu too. I never played Symphony of the Night but I did finish Wonderboy 3 one of the best games ever. So yeah just like Earthbound sometimes mega classics like Super Metroid, Earthbound or rpg in generals can be disliked even though they are obviously super good games. Some games I believe you just cannot dislike are Zelda 3, Chrono Trigger, Megaman X, DKC 2 etc. Simple and fun enough to be enjoyed by everybody.
