I may bring some information on why mario galaxy has a value solely for marios hand size. Marios hands expand for a short amount of time whenever he does a spin. Thats what the value is for.

I actually think I know why there's a variable for his hands. When he spins his hands get a bit bigger normally so that's probably to contol how much bigger they become during the animation
