10,000 Super Pro Farm Tractors Pulling at Millers Tavern September 27 2014. 1000-1300 Horsepower Tractors weighing in at 10,000-pounds pulling 42,000-pounds of rolling weight that becomes pure drag weight.
The cover photo is Brad Gentry and Big Ed's Turbo Express. Brad passed away a few years ago. Brad was driving carrying a load of lumber and went off the road killing him immediately. Brad will be missed by all in the area and in the sport.

I don't really know if beauty and man made machines go in the same sentence but in every sense of the word those IHC's can really look good when they're cleaned up. No other and no new one looks this good. And love only belongs to lovers but oh do I like the way this tractor looks. Maybe just maybe back in the day when dealerships were real and the dealer made it work that we could get one and it saved our farm from going under. Maybe the beauty is in the memory. The dealer said we deserved heater AC power clutch TA dual hydraulic and Dual PTO. My dad gave me that machine and it did auger our complete crop into the bins this year. It's 48 years old and is the key to why we needed bigger machines latter years in Farming, but the newer ones still are not as good. The JD's use 6 times as diesel per hour but don't do 6 times the acres not even close. Maybe the day will return where we build responsible machinery again.

When you drop your weights you are automatically disqualified rules . Weights are supposed to be fastened so they will not break free . A lot of pullers use a through bolt or pin to keep weights on equipment

Yep. It’s a gamble for sure. But you can drop weights if your the first puller and come back. I’ve seen that happen before.

The guy that dropped the weight and had a exhibition run didnt go passed 50ft why was he disquailified?

At 2:34, the front tire of Pap's Blue Ribbon touched the chalk line. That is disqualified due to Out of Bounds DQ:OoB if you are scoring at home. He fixed the popped tire and ran later as an exhibition. At 4:20 the Mechanical Bull was DQ:LoW due to Loss of weight. It is immediate. But he came right back and made an exhibition hook. If he had stopped the tractor before 100 foot he could have re-hooked but the loss of weight negated that. He talked to me after the fact and said, "I had it Will if I just would had the second run first."

2:33 Horrible driver !!!! FYI- tractors don't steer well when the front end is 4 feet off the ground!

No, tractors do not steer 4 feet off the ground. Smoke Tubes will pull you to the side of the tube ever so slightly, but outdoors tractors will follow the groove of the track. The best in the world hook 30-50 times a year. Therefore they know how to brake, how hard to brake, and when to brake. Some pullers drive nose heavy where as to drive the tractor. If you aren't nose heavy, you had better know how to brake.
