What if Frankenstein Jr. from "Frankenstein Jr. and The Impossibles" was in Super Robot Wars? An ability showcase.
Frankenstein Jr. was a 18 episode anthology created by Hanna-Barbera in 1966. Each episode consisted of two segments, one following a trio of musicians that double as superheroes against a variety of superpowered thieves, while the other focused on a boy and his giant robot Frankenstein Jr. as they faced various threats to Earth.
Each episode consisted of one segment of The Impossibles, followed by a segment of Frankenstein Jr., and a final segment of The Impossibles. The three segments are separate episodic stories, and neither has a running storyline between episodes, although some villains do make repeat appearances. Compared to more popular Hanna-Barbera series like The Flintstones and Scooby-Doo, this series was more action focused, with comedy largely relegated to slapstick and wordplay rather than strongly defined comic personalities.
While it predates Mazinger Z, the setup of Frankenstein Jr. is remarkable similar to that of Super Robot anime, and especially that of the much earlier Tetsujin #28 which had recently been localized in America as Gigantor. As far as I know, the connection has not been confirmed, although references to Godzilla at least suggest at an interest in Japanese media. Compared to Tetsujin, Frankenstein Jr. is more heroic and humanlike, as well as having more weapons at his disposal.
Frankenstein Jr. rarely reuses his tools between segments, leading to the extremely large number of abilities showcased in this video. However, a few moves or tools do appear more than once, including the following:
Wind up punch
Trapping enemy with building
Extending hand
Suspension Ray
Instant Glue Gun
Bashing Batter Ram
Frigid Ray (Assumed; weapon is unnamed in its second appearance)
Heat Ray (Assumed; weapon is unnamed in its first appearance)
As an additional note, it should be pointed out that Frankenstein Jr. and The Impossibles contains some stereotypical depictions, such as of Native Americans or Yellow Peril-styled Chinese villain.
「スーパースリー」のフランケンロボがスーパーロボット大戦シリーズに参戦したられば。全て武器と特殊能力。

Interesting how Frankenstein Jr. was a giant, mechanical robot with a boy-inventor for its creator, and the Japanese anime, Gigantor, (produced earlier), was also a giant, mechanical robot with a boy-inventor for its creator. I guess they decided to make Frankenstein Jr. able to talk; not only to give Buzz someone to converse with, (besides his father), but also to end any similarities of a rip-off. (Eh---to be fair, I did watch Frankenstein Jr. more than I did Gigantor as a child.)

There was also Giant Robo (but that was live action) which later on got an animation version in the 90s IT was Mazinger Z (1972 Japan / 1985 U.S. as Tranzor Z) that was the first giant robot to be actually piloted.

Right,...The music cues, that were written and conducted by Hoyt Curtin, were almost entirely composed for Jonny Quest. There were also musical contributions by Ted Nichol. 39-year-old Dick Beals did the voice of boy scientist Buzz Conroy. He had a long, successful career doing kid voices such as Speedy Alka-Seltzer and Ralph Phillips. Frankenstein Jr. was voiced by Ted Cassidy, of Lurch/Addams Family fame.

Okay. The majority of the abilities being just a "do whatever"-ray (with the occasional prefix of "Instant or "Super" for flavor) is disappointing. Like, the petrifying putty and the face shield are at least interesting and seem to involve his mechanics in some manner. Also why do his buttons only need to be pushed *some* of the time? That being said, the show's definitely a higher quality than most other cartoons of its era. Inexplicable animal cruelty notwithstanding,
