Super Robot Taisen W - Tekkaman Blade Final Fight

After beating Sword, Evil appears for one final showdown with Blade. When 'Masquerade' starts playing, only epic things can be expected. Eventually, both Blade and Evil reach their Blaster Modes but Blade eventually wins and Evil, with his last ounce of strength, decides to help buy time for Blade to escape so that he can face Omega.
Blade eventually reaches Omega but he had pretty much lost most of his memories and personality by the time he reaches there. Whats left is a berserk Blade with only one goal and that is to destroy every Radam.
It takes the sacrifice of Pegas and words of encouragement from everyone to make Blade regain his senses and thus begins the final throw-down with Omega.

The plot here is brilliant. Sword gets jealous because Aki turned into a Tekkaman by her own will to fight with Blade together, while she was forced to turn by the Radams. So she tries to self destruct and take out Aki with her, but Barnard sacrificed himself to protect Aki. This never happened in the original because Aki turned into a Tekkaman in the sequel and it's Balzack instead of Barnard who sacrificed himself. But SRWW moved TMB2 to the middle of TMB instead of after it.

All these years later and I'm still impressed they literally had all of Blade's animations outside of blaster mode at the half-way point of his story. They did not need to do this AT ALL, but they did it anyway to show his growth.

スパロボはキャラがよく動いてくれるのが好きですね。それもブレード系はデザインも好きだからもっといいプラットフォームで3DCGで動いてほしいよな…

WのブレードってTV本編とOVA混ざってるのか・・・すげえな。・・・バーナード軍曹はやっぱ死んじゃうのね（TωT）　正直、あの回は神回でしたよ・・・当時そんな単語なかったけど。ぶっちゃけ、ミユキが自爆した時より泣けたし、ブラスター化完了の時間を文字通り身体と命を張って稼いだ軍曹にシビれた。

スパロボWの場合、この後選択肢次第では、「ブレードファンにとっては、トンデモ級にビックリな奇跡」が起き、「とあるキャラが救済」されるのです。（専用の合体攻撃もあるよ）その際に、GGGが絡むという采配ぶりです・・・。

個人的には、バーナード軍曹が死んだシーンその物より。自分に『戦士の魂』を教えてくれて、更に身を以てブラスター化を助けてくれたバーナード軍曹の事を、Dボゥイが忘れてしまうという展開に『うあぁぁぁ…！』ってなりましたね…

There's a good amount of "Sp restore" events in that last battle, enabling you to do a surprising amount of Spirit-assisted ass kicking (Zeal spam anyone?)

I believe if you take Evil down twice before the events, Tekkaman Rapier appears

Correction, you beat Evil once in normal form, then again in blaster form, and Rapier should appear after or in the final fight. much like Canard.

ブレードとエビルの戦いは互角。いやそれ以上と言っても過言ではない。しかもブレードは実兄とも戦わなくてはならない。確かにオメガの言うようにユミ達新世代テッカマンは紛い物だ。しかし、見た目は紛い物でも実力は本物だ‼️そして心も絆も本物であることを理解すべきだ‼️

@Santiago Scarpino Welp, problem is... 1. They're gonna have to find a replacement for Miyuki/Rapier's VA (It was the same as Excellen) 2. And if they want to include II, for the same reason, they have to change Natasha/Vesna's VA (the same as Puru)
