Actually Viral is a special case, since the Spiral King made him immortal (most likely due to receiving a fragment of his power), Viral is the only beastman to possess spiral power.

I’m pretty sure it was Boota that was producing Spiral Power for him. Well, I’m not sure about this instance in particular, but a little earlier on in the series that’s what happened.

I like to think being so close to Simon and Boota for a while just mutated him into a proper Spiral before long.

It's because of the superspiral pocket universe bullshit. Literally anything can happen if you want it to hard enough. Viral just willed himself some Spiral Power. He was sitting in the heart of a galaxy-sized machine that was endlessly burning with Simon's Spiral Power; it stands to reason that he just did whatever bullshit everyone else did to borrow some and conjure a Tengen Toppa Ganman with it.

Technically he got improved by Lordgenome before the Battle of Teppelin when he got made immortal, that's how he got stronger and that's how he became able to pilot Gurren.

It's a homage to getter franchise afterall. Things is getter ray absorb literally everything while spiral energy only feed on, you guess it spiral energy.

@@MukuonChannel i swear, i dont get how the invaders from shin getter robo keep popping up. they've beaten the final boss from that ova quite a few times and the same shin getter fighting the same enemies is still being brought. just add muv luv, for gods sake. just make it a completely different story to not spoil the actual game, or at least just alternative. also, gridman would be nice. darling in the franxx had hissatsus? i think its a relatively important anime, not good, but relevant. but i dont know if they even had vulcans, much less hissatsus like fire blaster and whatnot. the tiramisu anime was pretty gunny but again, not sure it the robot had enough moves to be put in srw. robot girls z would be pretty funny and would make sense. though im sure a rival like suzaku from code geass wouldnt attack them so it'd be weird, in that regard. im pretty sure theyll never let kotetsu jeeg again in srw but i'd appreciate mazinkaiser skl.

@@Mngalahad I'll admit Shin Getter Armageddon has been already overdone since SRW Z. And MuvLuv would be quite tricky to implement into the SRW universe, they would need to write their story from scratch. And I think it wouldn't be far off since they already debuted on SRW X-Omega, along with Tiramisu and SSSS Gridman. Instead of Shin Getter Armageddon, they should stretch out and adapt the manga. It's been ages since fans have been waiting to see Getter Emperor himself.

@@MukuonChannel i think for muv luv, they could just make beta land on any world in a few hives and a mother hive (?) from another franchise and make the main characters fight them. they can like make an entire ship jump to another world so even yuko sensei shows up. though they dont have flying ships so theyll move from the one they arrive in. that way, they can have even the take mikazuchi and susanoo for later stages. they had the moves from their own gacha game and they also had hissatsus from x omega. this way they dont spoil the game. and an anime for alternative was announced so it kind of makes sense. as for the getter, they freaking brought back the shin getter dragon from a ps1 game. i think if they brought the getter devolution, thatd be cool. but god, i dont want the black getter again. it even shows up early in srw dd.
