IMO, the coolest thing was where you said the Vail Fire Dept actually came out and helped wet it down. It's epic having a town where the officials are willing to participate in the community like that.

Whoa! when you originally said that he lubed up a slip 'n slide I was thinking, "yeah, great; he's sliding your kids from the edge of the portable pool to the grass." But that slide rocks! That's better than a ride at water world!

Thats a GREAT slide and such gorgeous scenery as well.........looks so beautiful there :-) I thought it was gonna be a joke video at first with some car accident at the bottom.........but thankfully its real :-)

i visited vail about 2 years ago. it was in june and i went up on top of a mountain near beaver creek and stood on a snow drift in shorts and a t-shirt. it was amazing.

very sweet. we're making one at my mom's next year at the reunion, it'll only be about 1/3 your length, but it's a steep enough hill that we're gonna ramp it into the pond at the bottom of the yard. good stuff. never too big to be a kid.

How does the slide end ? does it start to go uphill to slow him down or is there a splash pool at the bottom ?

yay he's the first one to make it all the way down! awesome! looks like so much fun! wow, he's in the road! he even got hit by that car, no one's gonna beat that!
