Seeing Nick become an anime antagonist was terrifying. Zach(Zack? Zak?)'s arc was inspiring as he slowly started to make a comeback. But when expectations were subverted, and the villain won in a story for the first time ever, that's when I knew this video was storytelling genius. Also the sponsorship sketch was great.

This man needs to get paid more for sponsors, he's the only creator out there who I don't just skip their sponsors segments.

I would watch an hour long 4 man monopoly game in this style no lie.

Smashopoly rule ideas Each player gets two randomly chosen non-property characters as you "money" (any characters not on the board) If free character or pass go give a player the final character for a property set, they must fight and win with that character to win If doubles are rolled, roll a single die and add that to the doubles Free character should come with a random match effect (such as smash meter, final smash, timed battle, team battle with computers based on owned property or any combination as some examples) Get out of jail by winning a match as Steve or you can "pay bail" by giving up a randomly chosen character that returns to the property rule which is if you land on the character and win the match you get that character Loved this video, awesome idea little Z!

Even though it was painful to see Z losing so badly the majority of the video, I thoroughly enjoyed this and hope we get so see it again, maybe as a four player with the underdogs

Here's at least 2 rules that you should use next time 1. Doubles on the dice gets to move again 2. Pay one or two character(s) to get out with the option to stay in jail until winning a match

I love this concept of game. I do have a few suggestions to the game like if you own both pyra and mithra like having both utilities you can switch between them during the match, also I think chance should have some things that help you more like “it’s your birthday” where the other player gets to give you a character but they choose. :) great content and I hope you win the next game of smash monopoly ;))

Might be a good idea to add something you can get if you win enough battles in a row on your opponent's properties, maybe something like if you win two matches in a row (could be whenever could be back to back) you steal a random character.

i have an idea for an enhancement you have to get 2 sets to win, but there are two bonus rules as a part of this 1. the first set you take, you get a one-time replacement for all 3 characters. so for instance, if you have a match with an incredibly bad matchup (ganon vs literally any zoner ever) you could replace that bad character with somebody less incompetent. you also get an additional replacement if you win on an income tax or super tax space 2. upon reaching 2 sets, every round you will fight your opponent with one of the 6 characters you have. if you lose, then the opponent gets another turn BUT if you win one round you win the game the second rule is definitely way less important than the first

If you had an account with all elite smash characters, it would be interesting to see a version of this (maybe underdogs) where you have to throw yourself to the whims of online for your characters, and have the landing on a property be even less in player hand. MORE RNG

Monopoly is my favorite board game ever! I made my family play with me on my birthday (but I got out first unfortunately.) Anyway it was just super fun and enjoyable to watch each other's play as well. Now since Little Z added a smash Bros twist to it makes it really interesting. But I think if he was going all out for the Monopoly Man cosplay he should have sprayed his mustache white. Anyway still very entertaining to watch. PS putting Mario in the thumbnail dressed up as the Monopoly guy with a nice touch.

I have a fun idea to turn it into a real game. Everyone starts with less money. But it's regular Monopoly involving the smash characters. Replacing auction is to Battle! If nobody else goes to battle in a predetermined amount of rounds, then you instantly win the character. If other players join, by choice or Force, they are added to the battle as well and everyone is at Stakes are set. Some Community chests and chances will force you into battle with unowned or one of your properties. In multiplayer, you can also have Team Battle and boss battle. I got a lot more running through my head as well, I figured that would just be enough summary to help push the point of turning it to a regular Monopoly Style

Great idea. To balance it a bit more I’d say you need another resource apart from “property”. Something you can bet for possible later return. This is the spending cash for houses part of monopoly.

I have a lot of ideas, so I'm gonna TL;DR them at the top. TL;DR: Rosters - Land on character, win fight, get character, can play whenever. Dispute - Land on opponent's character, win fight, take character from them Mirror Match - Dispute + Winner can't lose property for a while 4 Player Multiplayer - If 2+ people land on a space, they fight each other, then fight anyone else. Team Monopoly - Red vs Blue, 2v2, first to 3 sets wins, roster is shared. Board Changes - Change the RRs to DLC Packs 1 and 2 cut in half each, remove DLC characters from board. Free Parking - Free choice, if you choose owned character = roll 1 die + choose the other die roll GO - Act as if you landed anywhere on the board for that turn. Rosters and Disputes If you own a character, they are in your roster. You can only gain unowned properties by playing the character on them, but you are not forced into it. This means if your opponent is going to get a set and you aren't, you can use your preferred character to deal with them or you can go for a cheeky property. Disputes prevent the game from stalemating because someone goes Rainbow. If you land on an opponent's property, you have the right to challenge ownership. You do this by choosing the character on the property. The owner has two choices: A Normal Match: If they choose the character they landed on, they get the property assuming they win, if they lose, the challenger gets the property. No bullshit, no fuss, no mess. Mirror Match, which if they do brings greater risk for greater reward. In a Mirror Match, if the owner wins, they cannot have that property stolen for a single turn (or until you pass it if this is a two player game) however, the inverse is true if the person challenging the owner wins. So if you win a mirror match, the property cannot be taken from you by ANY MEANS until the next time it is your turn or the next time the opponent passes the space. Other potential additions include: Multiplayer Rules: Each turn, everyone rolls, if two or more people land on the same space, they all fight each other first. This prevents a situation where three players land on the same space and beat each other up allowing a fourth person to win because they didn't roll the same as anyone else. Otherwise, it is four player Battle Royale, Winner takes their space. You can also do Teams where each player is Red or Blue team and their characters count for their team, first to three sets wins, roster is shared and if they both land on the same spot, they fight together as the character. Board Rebalancing: Remove DLC characters from the board and split them up by DLC Pass 1 and 2, first half and second half. First one is DLC1 (1/2) and the last one is DLC2 (2/2) - This means that Railroads become inherently more useful to counter balance the fact that they are quite literally evenly spaced around the entire board. You could even make it a "Pick 2" spot where you get to choose your two to add to the roster. Change the Utilities to Echo Fighters such as Simon and Richter (Pit and Dark Pit or Palutena if you wanted to break away from Echoes/Samus and Dark Samus would also work) and so on. Free Parking shouldn't be a free character, it should be a free choice. Free random characters with no fight would just hurt the experience, so make it a match where you get to choose any character, regardless of Roster Ownership. Wanna play Beyonetta even if she isn't on the board? Why not, you get a free choice. If you choose a character already in your roster, I'd say you only roll 1 die and get to choose exactly what the other die rolls. Finally: Landing on GO allows you to choose a character on the board and act as if you landed there for that turn only. You win? You get the space. You lose? You landed on Go, it's fine.

If you make this into a series I would watch it over and over I swear

as a kid, we would have this house rule where you couldn't land on each other's property until everyone had at least a couple of properties already, since starting off landing on other people's property will fuck your game for the rest of the match and it was never enjoyable to be on that position, so every time someone rolled the dice and landed on somebody else's already owned property they would simply roll again until they landed on a property to buy. It would make the games faster and less crazy with RNG, on top of making deals a lot smoother. We played it to have fun, not to crush each other's spirits, so it was more like a social lubricant than actually anything competitive. Playing more matches always felt like it was way more fun than just dragging a single one out for hours after the winner was already decided on the first few moves.

Love the idea. I think it's an even better idea for like all the underdogs and multi part video. Rule changes. 1 person goes at a time. If they land on character unknownrd you can pass or play a random underdog (or like a set rotation) to play for that property winner keeps it. If you land on someone else's property you automatically play them if you win you steal if you lose they steal one of yours at random. Chance/community Jail Go and Free parking all stay the same. You can trade properties with opponents but can never trade for a win.
