Pretty awesome stuff! Nice job with the fights! The only thing I wish this game had was a boss that was reminiscent of the final boss in the Death Egg in Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The 2 part fight against his Master Emerald powered mech, and then chasing him down as the ground is collapsing is still one of the best boss fights in any Sonic game. The secret final battle in this game is a pretty good Super Sonic final boss though, it's definitely more challenging than Doomsday Zone's bosses. It just seems that the final boss fight where Eggman has the Phantom Ruby and the shield, pulling you into fights with the hardboiled heavies could have been much more epic than just Eggman jumping around in a bubble with a shield and 4 electrified tentacles. Oh well, I can't complain, the game is absolutely astounding and done well, regardless of my first world gripes.

Fact: to trigger Super Sonic Blue, you can pan the camera up all the way, THEN transform. In debug, you can also go into debug right when you transform to trigger it.

What if you put invincibility and speed shoes using debug? To unlock debug, do the bonus stages.

Who else struggled on the oil ocean act 2 boss

I really liked the music, it's like egg man used the gem to hit sonic one last time with the final boss rush attack. But dang, not enough for super sonic blue. Oh my gosh......they really made that a thing. And the trend continues into the next generation.

This happens because in the sprite sheet, Super Sonic is blue, just like regular Sonic, and they just swap the palate to the shining yellow variant. It's also been fixed in the PC version.
