Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I thought it was a reference to Goku, whose eyes are a greenish blue in his Super form. But I like your idea more.

It's a reference to Goku's Super Saiyan form then again the entirity of Sonic and it's super forms was heavily inspired by DBZ as Sonic is Goku and Shadow is Vegeta. 7 chaos emeralds are the dragon balls. Red eyes in Super form was the original draft for Goku in SSJ form in the manga he has red eyes. Green eyes were eventually the color they settled with after some dicussion so both the red and green eyes are inspired by the Super Saiyan transformation. the chest pump is from Android Saga when Goku fights Android 19.

I dont really understand the logic behind Shadow pushing Sonic to Superform, but if it leads to an animation as crispy and immaculate as this, I dont care how much sense it makes. Keep cooking, man. 🔥🔥🔥

Imo, it makes sense. Shadow is like Sonic, but with additional abilities. They were only on par in power in Frontiers. All the times he's managed to beat him before was mostly due to luck and skill. Shadow was on ice for like 50 years or something after all.

@burnttoast.2017 wrong,sonic is so much faster than shadow and has relative if not better abilities without needing a chaos emerald 24/7,only thing shadow has is some niche G.U.N training and fire arms but those woukd be irrelevant.

@@AhmadKazan-wk7ei Sonic is *not* so much faster than shadow. Its only a *tiny* bit at best. As its stated on multiple occasions, their top speed is mostly equal. Its just sonic has a quicker start up when it comes to speeding up. The chaos abilities shadow is able to use do not require a chaos emerald to use as well. Except a few of them like chaos control, shadow can access most of the chaos abilities by himself. Such as chaos spear, snap, blast or the other variants of chaos attacks that I dont know the name of, ( the ones that look like a chaos blast variant etc ). Generally, shadow has the upper hand in IQ, Battle IQ, skills as you could *very clearly* see in sonic prime. Sonic could beat shadow, but shadow could very well beat sonic as well, it just depends on why they fight and what are their purpose is.

@@aizawa_classic2735 It is actually said that Shadow shares or matches Sonic's speed, not top speed and it is constantly described that the air shoes are responsible for keeping the fight fair; Most of the time it is said that Sonic's top speed is unknown; Normally Shadow has a quicker start because of the shoes and not Sonic (although Shadow normally only uses the shoes after reaching a certain speed); Shadow is known for not holding back and being quite brutal, Sonic is the opposite, he tends to hold back and be very playful (unless the situation gets very serious); At the beginning of Sonic Prime, Shadow has an emerald and in the other fights Sonic doesn't want to fight, not to mention that in Prime, Sonic gets distracted very easily.

that´s how you pop a super sonic transformation, not with a flashy flash that lasts for one second and then, bam an unstoppable light speed machine of destruction, no, you need at least this much spectacle to make up for such power! Well done

Well if they always had this much spectacle then everyone would just compare it to super Saiyan even more and that just ruins the tone and feeling of Super Sonic. Like I wouldn't mind it having a lot of visual spectacle effects and events that would make it really cool, just as long as they avoid using unnecessary long screams like when Goku or Vegeta do for most of their transformations then it'll be fine.

I personally think that the transformation should still be short, but it should still have enough spectacle to be cool and flashy as well as it seeming like Sonic's struggling to control the "chaos" and power of his super form before fully focusing it and finishing the transformation. It should still be short and toned down enough so it's not just a Dragon Ball transformation.

@@Pebblez23 Sure the idea of Super Sonic may have gotten inspiration from Super Saiyan since the creator was a dragon ball fan but it always finds a way to stand out differently and unique from ssj despite the similarities they have. Unlike ssj where the power is just about rage, Super Sonic is a mystical transformation powered by the chaos emeralds and I think the best way to describe it is a quote from Archie Sonic and Mega man when they use the chaos emeralds; *The power to turn dreams into reality, it's our purest desires given form. It's our desire to save the ones we love, to save our worlds---all worlds!*

Im so glad someone finally asked. Its slightly altered but it is actually Jason Griffith screaming! I searched for other roles he did and found he had this blood curdling scream in an anime called Kurokami. Really helped sell this : )

Ah yes, i love it when people portray Sonic as a badass & chill dude, he doesn't say anything cringe nor does he sound like a 30y old, just the Sonic we all know. Smiling, standing strong, not OVERCONFIDENT, no trashtalk. You can feel the positivity radiating from him.

@@luisangelsandoval1000 I think shadow is dedicated before sonic and becomes Hyper Shadow and then it becomes Super Shadow and at the end it becomes Chaos Shadow and it uses and defeats all the abilities.

@@RyuzoSaiyan I think shadow uses all the forms and beats sonic. If a second video like this is made and shadow wins, I think he uses it in fan forms, Hemed, for example, Fleet way form, for example.
