It's definitely crazy how large of a difference box placement can make. With all my trunk enclosures, ported, sealed, and t-line, placement affected low and high end response, amount of ear-hit, body hit, and perception of intensity.

I can dig it. Cool theme and well done install. Not big on the equipment or using different sized subs but I'm sure it's loud.

I installed and competed in the mid 90's. Back then we had amps by Zed audio and the like. Thise amps had highly regulated power supplies and ridiculously high damping factors. The amp and sub here are incredinly ouy of control. It is either a function of the box creating a standing wave inside of it that is fighting the motor of the subwoofer or the amplifier has poorly regulated power supplies and low dampening. You have several alternators...do you habe numerous batteries and caps as well? I am just trying to determine why the subwoofer is behaving in such an eraddic fashion. Good luck figuring it out. When you do you will be mich happier with the system.

Earthquake brand is so good. It is what got me into SPL. This guy did NOT break in his sub properly. You can visibly see how the surround does not flex in certain areas. It's a shame. He could have gotten another 8-12 decibels out of it if he broke the speaker in properly
