@@aminethe3rd E.Ryu and Ryu are two different beings. When playing Asuras wrath and fighting E.Ryu Ryu turns back to normal and says "That was not the real me." That's why when E.Ryu wins he says "I am now complete" they both fight for control of Ryu's body.

N'Goueko Son well, I wouldn’t call it REAL name since it’s just the Japanese name, but yeah it kinda is probably, considering naming your child “Akuma.” Is a sin, because you’re calling your child the devil. So yes, Gouki/Akuma most likely changed his name to that.
