@silenttakuza Dee Jay is a musician, specifically for Reggea/Rock fused styles. He also bases his fighting techniques based on rythms. Thats why he makes jokes about Seths rythm in his ending. Its also why he carries maracas around with him.

@pe1ofin0 thats exactly what i was thinking. i also dont know if it was common or not but i turned down the in game volume for ssf2thdr and he still shouted max out at max volume. he literally would max out my tv lol. it will be missed

Rufus's second ultra move is funny when he does his ultra move watch rufus his head doesn't move not one second his body swings around but his hand stays in place ha ha ha its funny and when he gets through he always says "Sexy"

@silenttakuza no, reggea artist use maracas. Reggea in general is usually, and I highlight usually, mostly percussion. As for grinning all the time? Hard to explain. He IS one of the good natured fighers, like Honda and Blanka. There is a joke however, that Dee Jay took all the misery out of his life and replaced it with his music.

Just a minute ago I was playing this game on 3DS. I was beating the piss out of Rufus with Dee Jay...and my battery died. Grrrr...

@Gojira1985 Firstly it's spelt "Reggae" not "Reggea." Secondly I know reggae and they use ,as you rightly said, drums and in additional to that they use guitars (electric and acoustic). They also use pianos and sometimes tambourines. Lastly, maracas are more calypso (I hope I am not upsetting any Trinidadians) and more Latino-y.

LOL Ebakthecat DeeJay as no DP inputs all his moves are charged except for his machinegun punch which was one before SSFIV but in SSF IV its a 5 punch input move.Instead of a charge.

damn rufus got nerfed pretty badly, ex ss and messiah he seems to have his grab nerfed as well. Maybe his grab wasnt hit deejay may just have 1100 health.

seems like the combo sytems is a lil bit more faster than sf4 am i right cuz call me a noob but i knew some of those combos but i couldnt do that fast or with ease
