You should actually do a holding still challenge. Make a 1x1 or 2x2 pole and try to balance a 1 wheeled vehicle on it for as long as possible.

it works if you put like free bearing and punch it from the inside, it created a kart like that it worked, not great but... yeah

Next challenge you have to combine a minimum of AT LEAST 3 previous builds to make a functional vehicle that can fly through one part (or hover or drag with thrusters), be a walker of some kind through the next part, and then drive like a normal car, you are allowed one non-multiplayer Monday build to borrow parts from, usual rules other than that and an extended time limit of 20 minutes, if more time is needed then take it, no repainting borrowed parts and you have to show all builds you borrow from to prevent cheating.

a race where you are either attached to a wheel of a car, and you spin as it spins, or a race where you sit in a ball (of any block - to spice it up you could make it pistons on timers) which steers and rolls with thruster power

You should do a directly upwards challenge to the sky box with no thrusters

You should try using your small car in the mountain base.

I think it would be more fair and fun if the vehicles were even smaller, using 1 electric engine only at 4 or 3 power level. You could also made a little race track, maybe with some simple obstacles. That way you can see the other players all the time, and the lagg would affect them less cause the low speed. The obstacles could be loose parts that some machine trow into the track. Add to the cars something that grab and trow those loose parts (could be a simple piston catapult) and then even with that little speed you got lots of fun.

Make a wheel of fortune that points to different types of propulsion, you can have 3 types of propulsion. Some examples are pistons, thrusters, normal wheels, etc.

do a tug of war challenge with 4 trains tied together in a centre point (four trains - each built separately with length, height and power restrictions: length of train; how many engines; what power level - with a centre point of pipes attaching the trains. the person able to move across a line (in this case a square where the trains have to reach the border) wins.
