Something I still don't understand is how he got the models since they really look like the original highpoly versions. Was he an actual dev/modeller for the original game, or are these made from scratch? It's impressive.

@@MrChromed He worked at 343 and recently left (6 months back) and now works at Gearbox!

@@MrChromed I’m also part of Digsite, a joint effort of 343 developers and modders to being cut content to the halo modding community so that we can all experience the Halo content that was originally scrapped years and years ago. Through that I’m given access to source assets for reference and then remake them with modern tools and my own polish.

Technically the Vampire should have 2 people. A pilot for the side plasma guns and stasis bomb and field and also lastly a gunner specifically for the giant Needle Cannon

It'd be cool to see the Halo wars marines and flame marines too. Seeing the cyclops's model is he doing HW2 vehicles too, or is that just the easiest cyclops model to use?

i have an idea for new Halo Mod gameplay mechanic (actually is not NEW new), a mix between RTS and FPS similar to Brother in Arms: road to hill 30, besides control/commanding a group of soldiers, this time you control the entire fleet at your fingertip. Imagine: - in first-person view, you look and select a fleet of Hornets or a Scorpion tank. - Using FPS crosshair you mark the target to deploy, then the selected group will march towards the target. - Beware: the Covenant (Enemy AI) can "read" your tatic, they will put up strong defense and/or offense to your strategy.

Im creating a 2d fan game where you fight the covenant in their entirety. You fight the basic units, spec ops division, the storm division, silent shadow, and much more. The story will take place on Meridian

Suggestion; here Scaboodly have the chance to make Halo Wars even bigger. I mean, RejectedShotgun, for example, or Pepperman, made some functional models of Lich, Condor, Pelican, Mammoth or Mantis. I think those vehicles could feet so well in this game mode.

@hellsverg2063 This is a test map for the vehicles so far. More stuff, including land vehicles, will be added next. The mod that will be released is a campaign mission, so this does not involve any game modes. Luckily, all the tags will be available to use in any multiplayer mods!

@@Unseen_Halo I had the campaign mission in mind when I suggested all those vehicles. If it's based in Halo Wars, it could feature large-scale battles, like Tip Of Spear in Reach. Who knows, even you could port some of this awesome tags for H4 Reclaimer in the future.

@hellsverg2063 So atm Halo 4 Reclaimer is already reaching max size from just replacing current assets with higher quality ones so I'm already having to do a lot of optimizing. I am trying to figure out if I can add another shared map or something so I can add more stuff!

@@Unseen_Halo Maybe using 1k or 2k textures (even lower quality) to enviroment, backgrounds or effects and no more than 4k for players, weapons, vehicles and NPCs. H4's engine put the old XBOX 360 to it's limits, and also looks H4 Reclaimer is doing the same.

@hellsverg2063 Yeah, if I did that high, the mod wouldn't even work, haha, unfortunately. Basically, it can double vanilla h4 size before it breaks.
