'Memory' is from the musical 'Cats' and the performance you are reacting to was from 4 years ago in a TV show in China called 'Super Vocal'. To tell you a bit of his background. He got bullied a big-time when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now. He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to studied Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is very good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 10 different languages. He can even sing 6 different vocals in one song. His music has so many different genres. If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people,'s, souls. He is a Chinese singer. He can sings many songs in different style. Bel Canto: "Time to say goodbye" and "Think of me". Romantic:"Eyes on me" and "My heart will go on". Terror :"The Song of Heaven Island" and "Ring the Doorbell and Listen by Myself". Lovely Movie OST: "Let it go" and "Do You Want to Build a Snowman". Funny: "Dalabengba" and "Cowboy is Busy". Haha love you’re reaction. 😂 Thank you so much for reacting to Zhou Shen ( Joe Sun). His English name is Charlie Zhou. He is well known for his feminine voice. His voice didn’t crack, when he was younger his voice was in even higher pitch. Only went deeper as he grew older. You can say he’s a total late bloomer. He is the hardest working singer I ever known. After graduated from Ukraine, he return to China and continues to study in Chinese opera and voice acting. Even now he kept finding old legends of various music artists and sing with them. Some frgotten old songs. Not only he have both wide range in vocal and genres, he also have great personality. His genres are Mandarin pop, Rock, mostly ballades, role plays (singing different characters in different voices). Sometimes he would mix western classics or Chinese opera with pop or rock. It was his greatest even it was a small portion, he wish to get the younger generation interest. So the world won’t forget one of it’s old treasures. I love how he express his emotion through his songs. Another I love about him is his style and arrangement in music is always kept changing. He’s like a treasure box. You’ll always discover something new every time you sees him again.
