People forget Goff’s early seasons with McVay. He was a pro-bowler, he put up 50+ points agains the Chiefs going toe to toe with Patrick Mahomes in one of the greatest QB shootouts of all time. Goldfish memories, man.

People have underestimated Goff since his rookie year. He's tough as nails, good locker room and community guy and he's a great QB. "Goff looked like a doe-eyed Bambi..." is the reason people have always crapped on him. I can tell you as a Seattle fan, I'd take him in a heartbeat.
@JoycenatorGaming

The problem with Goff is that his highs were great, but his lows were really bad. McVay’s offense was designed specifically to minimize Goff’s mistakes and it would still get ugly. He was a lot more than his highlight moments. Even the game you mentioned was a wake up call for a lot of people because Goff was clearly not the same caliber of player as Mahomes. The Rams defense scoring points off a fumble recovery was the difference maker

I genuinely think Sirianni stands almost zero chance of keeping his job. Within a vacuum, I don't believe a historic collapse like this, after a super bowl season, is enough to get a head coach fired. It's the way the collapse happened that is going to get him fired, and is exactly why Lurie has fired the past handful of coaches. The completely stubborn and ignorant insistence that his way was the correct way will be his downfall. If he had at least attempted to correct the issues that were blatantly apparent the entire season (let alone during the collapse), he would stand a chance of keeping his job, because at least he would have tried. Changing absolutely nothing, excepting demoting a DC to an even worse DC, and becoming the worst defense in the league, absolutely warrants a head coach getting thrown in the can.

@@Drewswaggy this is sort of exactly what I'm talking about. People who didn't watch every second of every Eagles game this year don't understand the issue with Sirianni. @@Iamhungryforribeye Wokest comment I’ve seen to date and it’s coming from a 30 year OG. For starters, you should be able to give a Coach flowers without inserting yourself and your family into the sentiment. Minor, but still noticeable. Next is the entitlement aspect. “If my child wants to play QB in the NFL” like it’s going to college or enlisting in the military. Over a million teens play high school football every year. We see 50-60 QBs start in the NFL each season. As if dismissing those odds isn’t enough, he frames it in a trivial way that a parent or child might have a say in how that 1 in a million shot plays out, a la Eli Manning refusing to play for the Chargers. Equivalent would be “If my child wants to be a millionaire by age 22, would you want them to do so via real estate?” This alone is wild. Finish it off with the suggestion that a female could one day withstand being tackled by 300 pound professional athletes more than once if they just put their mind to it 😂😂😂

@byronsmith3152 purdy is literally the most overhyped qb in the league. They don't talk about him one week after talking about him all year and you think it's haters. Bandwagon fans are delusional 😂

Tomlin didn't walk out because of the question. He walked out because of the LACK of questions. After so much silence, the mediator of the press conference said "anyone?!", THAT is when Tomlin started walking off. Every. single. Clip I've seen of him walking off cuts out that part, making it look like he walks off in response to that one question. He was pissed, and when confront with silence, Tomlin didn't see any reason to stick around.

I think they meant Superbowl. No rookie QB has ever made it to a Superbowl. Only 5 rookie QBs have made it to a championship game. Purdy is one of them.

Jared Goff only looks bad when he is under constant pressure - when he's scared. Why they didn't pressure him more is a mystery.

Rich I agree that was a terrible holding call in that Texans game. Many forget the referees overturned a touchdown the Bills got, directly agianst the rulebook. It was called correctly on the field, and then a random black coat referee came on the field and changed it. We still never got an explanation for that

TJ Watt could have turned that game around for Pittsburgh. As long as the Steelers continue forward with Mason Rudolph, there's no reason to think Tomlin's job should be in danger. It should have been in danger when he decided to start Ducky....or when he didn't make Rudolph the starter as soon as Big Ben retired....too late for all that, though.

So, during the season, all i heard was that the East was the stronest division in the NFC. The North and South were weak and had weak leaders. Now, here we are one week into the playoffs, and both the east teams have been humiliated, and three out of the four teams left are from the north and south divisions.

I think Hill regrets it. If he had only had just a very basic amount of logical foresight, he would know that Kelce would be slowing down very soon. Imagine Hill this year. He would have been feasting, just like he was in Miami. And also have another ring. .... and his house wouldn't have caught on fire.... lol

I still say it because I've seen it. I like Goff, but he can be rattled, an example would be his Super Bowl appearence with the Rams. Stafford is VERY hard to rattle. But since I still think Goff is fine, and I'm not a sore loser to a team (the Lions), that deserves any good luck it gets, Go Lions!

Allen the most dangerous player in the group of 8 teams left in the playoffs - but not a Pro-Bowl or All-Pro player. Yet people continue to say there is an anti-Tua or Lamar bias. When will the Allen haters admit just maybe they were wrong six years ago? I'm glad to see some finally admit Lamar is an amazing QB (not just "athlete' *cough*); time to recognize Allen's outside the "but the turnovers!!!" mold.

Stop the madness. When I see comments like this, my initial reaction is you haven't seen him play more than a couple of games this season and if you have then you should know better. Most Raven fans are underestimating the fight they're going to find themselves in come Saturday.
