Thank you for being the only person on KZfaq to review any of these Super7 Star Trek figures. I can kinda see why no one has… they kinda suck. 😢 No way I’d pay $50 for these.

I really wanted an updated bridge crew. I adored the Playmates figures, and like many, TNG was my gateway. However, I previously purchased a Lady Jaye G.I. Joe Ultimates, and while she looks better than what we got from the 6 inch line from Hasbro, you can clearly tell that they either don't know how to do people faces/articulation, or they straight up lie to you. Like the instrument. The faces look great in the pre orders, but they never update them with actual pics, which I feel is incredibly dishonest. Because even if they were essentially traffic cones (which they almost are,) if they looked like the promo pics, I'd snag em in a heartbeat. But as with Lady Jaye, Will looks nothing like how he was, and will only be presented to customers. Its shady, and as much as I hate to see the license go away for another who knows how long, I'd rather not support a company that lies to their customers. So, thank you for taking the plunge, hopefully you can reattach the instrument or exchange for a new figure. This review unfortunately told me what I sadly already knew, but hoped wasn't still true.

Thanks for this honest take. Sadly they turned out like 7-inch playmates or even Galoob figures! Super disappointed and just canceled my pre-order. One day I’ll get my 6-inch well articulated and accurate Star Trek figures… one day.

Thanks for getting this review up. Been very much on the fence about these. On the one hand I want to support a Star Trek figure line, but on the other.... I wish it was done a whole hell of a lot better for that price point. Maybe even something that could compliment the old Diamond Select / Art Asylum line. But these just don't seem like it... Bummer.

Whoever these people are that don't like "the H word" should really wake up and realize what obviously great news it would be for Hasbro to get the Star Trek license.

Super 7 did it again. They promote gorgeously painted face sculpts. Then give two year old quality paint apps. For $55. This is why series 2 Gi joe failed and why series 3 has been postponed.

Did you ever up getting the full wave or just Riker? I really wish that Brian would move out of his preference and comfort zone with the articulation design aesthetic and have his engineers add a bit more modern articulation into these. the customers for TNG were a bit plain and streamlined as it was so having a slightly more well defined human form and movement would have been nice to have. The faces look a tad bit stylized for sure. Also wishing that they could use a more photo real tampo on these heads. That being said, I'm all in for now even though it sounds like this line is DOA based on pre-sales since Star Trek is a hard sell regardless let alone selling 35 year old shows. :( Thank you for making and posting this. Man, this is a disappointment but at the same time it’s what I expect now from super7….i have number 1 and data on their way from bbts…..might cancel the others and hope for discounts or just say screw it and finish the bridge crew and then be done with super7. They charge a premium and deliver sub standard

Well thank god I cancelled this. As I did all Gi joe and thundercats going forward. Super 7 is going to go under if they keep screwing people over. This is unacceptable. For $20 I could see this crappy paint app. For $55 GIVE US WHAT YOU SHOW US
