Quick comparison between my S1 and S2
Kids are in the background so please forgive the noise, my wife put one of our boys on time out halfway through the video lol.
All and all I feel the S2 is a great step up from my modded S1 and significantly different from a stock S1. Feels like a whole different bike that addresses every area that could have been improved in the S1 design.
I forgot to circle back to my 18 mile ride. At the end of it (going up and down two steep hills for a 3rd of the 18 miles) I had 33% battery life still on mode 4 (unlimited) riding the throttle hard the whole time.

So hype now didn’t even know they did that slight upgrade on the suspension fork, my bike shipped out on Wednesday cant wait for it to get here got the galaxy black aswell! Thanks for the video dude🙏🏽⚡️

I love the chain upgrade on the S1 - about to get an S2 would love to do the same but finding away to keep a guard.

Looks nice dude! Seems like most people went for the Hudson Blue but I personally think the Galaxy Black is nicer :P Can't wait for mine to come in August!

I agree. Hudson blue is nice but I like the black as well. If I want to make it my own I would want to paint it myself. 👍 I’m sure you’ll love yours!

Like the style from the s1, is also have a s1 and want exactly the seat that you have but don't know where I can find it. All the seats out there are too short.

Great video man! Couple of questions. Did your S2 come with a horn? I was told yes it does and also no it doesn’t. Second question.. is your charger for the battery plugged in and you hook it up when the battery is low or do you just carry for when your stopped somewhere and plug it in?

Great comparison! I have same one coming in sometime in August. Question for you though.. I’ve seen some people have issues with the Rx powering off mid ride or have sound coming from the motor. I’m wondering if you had any issues so far? So far there’s 3 versions of the motors and the issues were mostly with the v1. Trying to see which version of the motor they’re shipping with the s2’s. I think you can tell with the serial numbers on the motor itself. Which did they send yours? Bike looks good can’t wait to get mine!

Eric Chan not yet, and hopefully never. Since I use it as a commuter I will definitely post updates. My s1 had no issues and I am hoping this one doesn’t either.

The S2 has a rear derailleur so when or if you change the chainring does that rear derailleur factor into it, do you have to permanently remove it?

@@trustautoparts3740 there is a button on the end of the light that you have to tap when signaling. definitely not ideal as you have to let go of the handle bar or use your pinky finger to do this but it works once you get used to it

MichaelValox hey I decided to take the bike out tonight for a long ride on mode 2 (20mph max) I throttled the whole ride and got 31 miles before the bike died. At around 25 miles if there was any incline (literally at all) the bike would slow down significantly and I had to pedal really hard, even for the slightest incline. Before hitting that 25 mile mark (20% of battery left) the bike held steady with good torque at 21mph. Really I wouldn’t ride the bike under 20% battery. It was pretty much useless at that point ( had to walk the bike up two hills ☹️)
