So, apakah itu mengganggu dia?? Gunakan akal sehat anda. Apakah anda takut kami akan mengejar PDB Anda?? Sangat lucu bukan.

So they have the fastest train in the world, which also looks fabulous... and then they call it 'Whoosh'. 🙂 You have to admit that it's actually a great name. They could have called it 'Red Dragon' or 'Star of the South', but no, 'Whoosh'. I applaud them for it, I really do. The seats are probably upright in order to be able to turn them around at the end of the journey. It is a bit surprising to see high-speed rail in Indonesia, and not just any high-speed rail, but highest-speed rail. But it makes sense. There are probably few places as suitable for high-speed rail as Java: it's large (one of the largest islands in the world), but also densely populated, with potentially tens of millions of passengers.

The high speed is possible because of all new track work that barely has curves, and the typical Chinese reckless engineering on the trains. Japan is using tracks from the 60s, so it’s pushing the limits, the ALFA-X managed to get over 400km/h. The Indonesian high speed rail contract is supposed to go to the Japanese until a new china aligned president came along and instantly gave the contract to China under the predatory Belt and Road initiative because of lower prices or simply bribery.

Wheelchair remark. My wife is lesser-abled, requiring a wheelchair for some journeys. As she is still able to walk, getting into a seat is not an issue. Finding a secure space to store a folded wheelchair on a train can be an issue. Worst case; the wheelchair takes up two additional seats. As someone who has often accompanied a lesser abled person on a train, I would have appreciated the wheelchair storage option as shown to be present on this train. Having said that, I'd fully agree this is a niche situation. So should be a nice addition to disabled seating and storage for bikes/ strollers.

The Fuxing almost has to have at least this amount of leg room, because every seat needs to be able to pivot 180 degrees to face the other way when the train reaches the destination. Any less leg room and there will not be enough space for the whole seat to rotate.

Even before the operational of this new high speed train, conventional train already become a popular choice among commuters between Jakarta and Bandung. Yes, there is a lot of commuters, mainly weekly commuting, from Bandung to Jakarta. Although the popularity of the train is decreasing since the opening of the highway, it still become an alternative choice as the highway are now often get traffic jam. Three hours is like the fastest driver can get from Jakarta to Bandung while the traffic time can be more longer as 5 hours just for around 150km trip. Glad you popped up with this video - I was off visiting my folks in Indonesia 2 weeks ago and was just super impressed with the massive infrastructure development that's happened in the 5years since I last set foot in Indo. The woosh journey time is seriously impressive when you consider that a stint on Argo Gede or Parahyangan would have taken 3 hours from Gambir to Bandung. You would have got some awesome scenic views as you snake around beyond Purwakarta. I'd say that an equally impressive engineering feat is the main Jakarta - Cikampek elevated toll road that clocks in past Bekasi - your train would have ran parallel to it. I remember ridiculously long journeys queueing up at Bekasi Barat Toll Plaza, whereas now it's seamless. Given that Bandung is the capital of Jawa Barat and has the sceond largest economy in Indonesia, it makes sense to have Woosh running between the two cities. I've also learnt that where my brother lives in Bandung, towarrds the north, it's villa and resort central. Consequently, Jakartans love to play in Bandung in the weekend for a cooler retreat. Let the train take the strain. I doubt the same can be said with Brummies spending a weekend in London only to get mugged for £7.50 a pint. As an aside, did you manage to take the Panoramic Train from Discount Reading station (by which I mean Bandung - the concourse feels surprisingly familiar) to Surabaya/Jogja? Well worth the £60 for the views and service. Quite enjoyed having breakfast whilst watching John Wick 4 - You won't get that on the 7.38 Gloucester to Paddington service!

Helloo, I'm a university student currently studying in Bandung, but whose home is in Jakarta. My personal experience with Whoosh has always been great, especially when I'm staying in Jakarta but have a morning class the next day. Though I sometimes do prefer other methods of transport, like the regular narrow-gauge train or shuttle buses, due to their cheaper price and better locations. The Whoosh Stations IMO aren't in the best locations for where I am going, because of my house being in Central Jakarta and my current campus being at the edge of Bandung (From the Whoosh station I have to take village roads that aren't well maintained).

As an Indonesian just wants to remind you about the political foreign policy of the EU and USA which has been going in the wrong direction. We don't blame its citizens, but their government has chosen unhealthy rivalries between countries in the world in colonial era, even after World World II ended. Why do I say that, because political foreign policy is based on supremacy, not on mutually beneficial collaboration and cooperation for mutual progress and benefit. Often that country's foreign policy will weaken other countries to appear advanced, that is not the right way. There is some evidence that the EU & USA are still competing to create modern and deadly war equipment, what's the point? Warfare industries that impoverish and burden their people with huge investments for all that? Indonesia has the principle and foreign policy of "zero enemy", and mutual cooperation is mutually beneficial. This era is no longer the era of conquest or the like, we must realize that prosperity can be achieved with collective peace for economic progress, no longer supremacy with physical warfare which also seems strange in nowaday era of humanity enforcement.

Really, we here in Indonesia got to thank Mr. Ignatius Jonan for his efforts to not only modernizing the infrastructure but also the mindset of the average indonesian. Our trains were once looked like pakistani/bangladeshi train, but now we come so far ahead, even beating countries such as the united states in terms of high speed rail games. And also credits to our most wonderful president Mr. Joko Widodo who not only envisioned things for better indonesia but also actually do it. We now, i believe on a very start of an economic boom, expected to be the 5th largest economy in the entire planet. Our journey is long and arduous, we come from one of the poorest as well as most corrupt country in the world to now one of the biggest economy. This train not only stand as a mode of transport but also a monument of the success of the indonesian people, working very hard to achieve this wonderful milestone. To say I'm proud of my country will be an understatement. Good job Indonesia... and terima kasih bapak jokowi....

@@kidfrank6549kalau di pikir" benar juga Pk. Jonan. Kereta cepat utk Jkt - Pdlarang mah terlalu singkat, ibarat membunuh nyamuk pake peluru kendali.
