my bet for TE is on a new OP-Z like an OP-Z Field, dont think we gonna see a new EP just yet...maybe a KO II update though. For Elektron Im hoping for A DN/models update.

I think the D2 was Elektron’s new thing but it would be really cool if they hit us with some even more new stuff!

I wish Elektron added more outputs. This way old Otatrack still beats Digitakt MK2. For now, my holy trinity - Octatrack, Analog Rytm, Machine Drum, and that will not change. Throw in Tempest for the raw sound power and Perkons for the bit of crazy.

Hi everybody. i own a MPC one, would you recommend a digi for experimental music and sound design? It's easier to make experimental music with digi? or continue with mpc? I would like to know if digi can actually be useful.

It's just a different thing, the main difference with any current elektron gear is that you're not goign to find any other units that offer that strnog of a sequencer ON TOP of being able to do everything else that the box does. I have 4 individual stereo outputs on my sampler (or 8 mono). But I haven't ever used them. Could you shed some light on how you would like to use them? I image some EQ and perhaps send effects per track through a mixer, or am I missing some other potential here? Main reason I don't use them is because I have a rather small mixer with all inputs taken up by other gear.

Of course ! This is my new set up workflow: Analog Rytm, which has 8 individual outs into the SSL Big 6 - into my audio interface - so in this case I can separate my drums / parts to individual stems and print it direct into my DAW. @@LiamKillen Oh yeah, that makes sense. Didn't occur to me as I don't use a Daw. I'll keep an eye out for a used bigger mixer so I can experiment a bit with some of the outputs processed individually. Thanks for your reply!

I feel like Korg is the only company really innovating. They have the Waves, NTSes, Volca, new KingKorg, etc. I feel like their next step would be merge the Opsix, Wavestate and Modwave into an ultra premium synth like the SE series

I honestly don’t think so but having 16 voices KIND OF allows you some leeway there

Use a retrokits cable (rk002) for this, it uses midi loopback to make it work. I'm sure they could implement it internaly. It spreads notes on different tracks to achieve polyphony, so that won't be a problem to have it on the DT 2 since there is 16 tracks available
