Exo suits are pretty much already build able, the problem is the battery and power it would take to run it. Right now the military suits run on a cord connection. It provides extra physical strength for moving objects, like a power loader in Aliens.

not even close, gundams are part of the reason i grew up to be a mechanic. we are short in many areas, no power source dense and light enough, no materials strong enough. still impossivle even if you can theorize or make a smaller version. way way off from getting a skyscraper to run

Simpler devices already exist on the civilian market. Not too expensive. Although still rather experimental. Japan makes them for their aging population.

Not practical at all since it’s huge. You are much better making strap on exoskeletons for your arms and legs only. We have these and they are in testing. These exos are about the size of the person, usually smaller

This is not powered like the ones used to help people walk. This frame moves by the wearer moving the linkages. Imagine a puppet but instead of strings the puppeteer is inside moving it with bars strapped to him.
