@@SalSanchez-dy6cn I don't think people are against it, but rather question the logic behind it. If you know a truck driver or have worked in logistics for a day, you cannot keep the interior white for more than a week. Especially in Europe, where truck drivers usualy don't drive long distances. If you do your job properly as a truck driver, you will regularly wear work boots and gloves while working and getting in and out. I guess he change clothes every time he fixes the straps or load/unload the pallets.

I can answer that. Truck driving is a dirty job, and you spend most of your waking hour in warehouse parking lots, truck stops and rest stops. Your downtime is in your truck too. It gets depressing and affects your sense of self-worth. This man addresses this by reminding himself that he is a clean person, with a clean and elegant “home” by decorating this way. It would not be my choice (I would have a colorful quilt, pillows and flowers). I respect him for doing what he needs to do to feel at home.
