Did you work out how to call webhooks properly per chance?

I haven’t implemented it just yet, but the idea was to create a Flask based Python server, with a URL that triggers some action on the server The sever would have to then use the Notion API to trigger actions on your DBs Let me know if you need some more details 🔥

@alon_vita I started teaching myself python last week and had the exact same idea. Watched a video on Flask but haven’t tried it out yet. Eager to hear your experience.

​@@AutomatedNikki how wonderful! its great how one may learn anything through the internet with content creators such as yourself 🤩 Had I known my reply will catch attention, I would have elaborated a bit more: I'm actually managing all of my life using Notion, and have decided to build what I call my 'Mind Palace OS' - I started with using Pipedream and then realized I could just build what I need on my own I mostly use my iPhone automations to send voice commands to my "OS" and make changes onto my Notion DBs (using Whipser and ChatGPT), but I've also added timed events (once a day or so) to update things automatically - depends on my requirements for the specific use-case I haven't tried using Notion buttons to connect things just yet - still have some work on other features, but so far this is working amazingly well 🔥

@@xavthomas I have created Gmail labels in Notion, so when I use the webhook for a project page, the message gets linked to reference later.

Trying to understand. When you click the white drop down button the option of “Done (Checkbox)” isn’t there? Or is it that the filter option below it isn’t there?

@gabrielhollander8121 strange. Have you tried running it without a filter. Set the limit to 1. Sometimes that helps to refresh the properties. Notion has been having a lot of server issues lately. That could be part of the issue.

I've been using webhooks to add tasks to my google calendar and to trigger my time tracker.

@@AutomatedNikki Thank you. I wasn't clear. I meant apart from the example in the video. I couldn't think of any...

​ @xavthomas I understood. The cases I demonstrated was updating completed tasks and adding items to a client database. You can also use this to add tasks to third party apps, like Todoist. Or trigger emails, post to social apps...there's so many possibilities.
