Germany: "With these 3-piece wheels, your car is illegal to drive, so it's going to be decommisioned" Meanwhile in America: *Puts a V12 in a literal race car with a pro charger big enough to suck in a small child* It has got blinkers, so it's legal. Jokes aside, that is one of the best builds I have ever seen. I always loved the Z4 GT3 and the fact you can drive this everyday on the road just blows my mind!

One of my favorite GTE / GT3 cars. Was so happy to see them come over to IMSA with RLL but I think they only ran it for a year or two.

Oh, absolutely! What car enthusiast wouldn't drool over a purpose built Z4 with an incredibly high revving V8.. I honestly don't like the fact this build is a V12.

lel these guys show up to sema every year with a bluetooth engine swap. last year was an rx7 that doesnt run. this year is a bmw that doesnt run. there must be money in swaps that dont run! i gotta get into that business

Lets hope Larry gets to film it at a track being tested as it would not do it justice filming it on the streets. The Mercedes V12 Sauber C11 (Schumacher Group C racing ) M120 twin turbo was an epic period in history when the sound of that engine was just pure bliss. It surpasses by a country mile the high pitched "chainsaw" sound from modern F1's and modern supercars which in my own personal opinion sound like crap. Bring back that epic sound of Group C racing and your on a winner

I dont really like BMW'S, but this version of the Z4 has always been my favourite. After seening a GT3 version racing in the Blancpain championship I've always thought how cool it would be to have a more GT3 inspired version of the Z4 for the road. Awesome job

I am an owner of an e89 z4 3.0 n54 6 speed. Always loved the gt3 version. In 20 years later when the engine breaks down and all I have is the chasis, I plan on converting it with the v10 bmw engine

I love the build, but as someone who is a Z4 fanatic, that wing, since it's just mounted to the skin of the trunk, won't push more than 300lbs before it'll cause a lot of problems on the upright mounts bending the trunk lid. I worked with APR on this very same problem for a E85...

Amazing build! I just wonder it is just show case exposing turbine inlet without any cover or it is okay to expose the inlet to open air like that. What if dust or event a small rock sucks into it, it would be disaster for turbine or further more big damage to the motor itself????

From one side the unique motorsport P65B44 was taken out and replaced with MB engine, which is utterly sad, but on the other side that supercharged M120 is quite cool itself...now just need to see it in action

GT cars usually have like 475 to 500hp, so triple the power is crazy

More like 550-600hp, depends of the specific series Balance of Performance rules. Yes, they have that power with intake rectrictors ;) GT4 have ~450hp. There're some exceptions like KTM X-Bow and Alpine A110 with ~350hp and a lot less weight.

2 years with 2 non runners is just cringe! Just doing things for internet points and stating dumbass numbers is starting to sum Sema up. This car was a weapon with 500hp the wheelbase is too short for much more let alone 1000 or even 1500 the snap will be insane so to say "we're going to dial it in" man id love to see you try with 600-700 and only RWD but its not gonna happen the car will disappear just like the green FD that's never been seen since last year.
