@@madkas14 of course, there's a "fix it" for all issues, including delayed responsiveness, and lag from forced induction but i'm speaking mostly in terms of vehicles stock for stock or merely how they come naturally without the use of anti lag, an after-market waste gate, or an upgraded spool valve..i've driven a turbo 2.0t sonata, a 2.0t jetta, and a Grand Prix GTP v6 Supercharged, and of course, while the 2.0t jetta and sonata were much quicker due to new innovations in technology (prix was a 97), the Prix still responded well stock for stock while the jetta's and sonata's power was just kind of all over the place, and throttle response was iffy at times, especially at higher elevations which is expected since turbos actually rely on exhaust gasses to produce power while the supercharger’s power source is a belt coming from the vehicles crankshaft..so yeah, supercharger will = more reliable power in higher elevations or shady outside environments, and will also have better throttle response without lag overall, but as mentioned, turbo's most def will have more potential power up for grabs....

Not always . Turbos can make more power but power for power it’s all in the set up. I beat turbo cars all the time in 1/ 2 mile races gay make the same or more power than me because a good race centrifugal like a Ysi or f194a with the right cam pulls hard everywhere and doesn’t stop pulling to go along with instant response . Can a turbo set make more power most definitely but that’s up to over 1400whp if that’s what you want. Plenty of superchargers can make 1000-1300+whp.

Supercharged 370z Nismo owner here. Although I am over 650 whp on e85, I cannot run with a turbo 370z with equal power because he will have a ton of torque available at 3,500 RPM. My power is at the top end (at 5,000 RMP); whereas, a turbo 370z with equal horsepower will be pulling at 3,500 RPM. If you have a stock engine, the supercharger's advantage is that it will put less stress on the rods during daily driving and pulls because the power is linear instead of an explosion once the turbo spools.

Don’t get in to the car modding game if your worried about warranty’s . People get brand new gtr, hurcans , Supras etc and send them right to get modded to 800+whp

@@speedlife301 Man that's great for them & trust me I'm out the modding game, my previous car had the crankshaft fail I believe because of the multiple mods on the car, I wound up needing a whole new engine at the tune of $8800, thankfully it was under the 70,000 mile warranty & even though I have the money to pay it I wouldn't want to.

The supercharger is winning on a cold start 9/10 0-60 also in the quarter mile. You would need atleast a mile stretched or more for the turbo to show it's value. Turbos do well on the top end but will majority of the time lose in a cold start. Also depends on the quality of the driver on launch too.

It depends on the age of the supercharger. The older Vortex Superchargers do not push as much air as the newer ones.

That doesn’t seem like a air to Air kit. The air to air kit by soho has a way bigger intercooler. That’s one seems like the plane stillen one which would give you around 450 whp. If you get the air to air it’s a easy 600+

superchargers are good low, and fall off high. turbos are the opposite. a supercharger gets u fast off the jump, but turbos will keep u going fast

@@nick0164 I am going to have to disagree with you on this. A supercharger only makes a few pounds of boost below 2,500 RPM. Whereas, a turbo likely makes none. But even when I am climbing in boost in my supercharged Z, the guy in the turbo will overcome my advantage once he hits 3,500 RPMs. The race will be determined by how large my lead is, as both cars will pull to redline with the turbo making more torque. If a supercharger is failing high in the RPMs, there is a belt slippage happening. A steady, constant increase in power is the whole purpose of a supercharger.

Just like any other supercharged or turbo vehicle tbh, it all depends on how often you drive it but more importantly how often your pushing the engines limits. Buddy got 55k miles out of his twin turbo g37x sedan before he ran into his first costly problem.
