Hey man, I installed my edelbrock supercharger on my brz, on december 22nd last year, christmas day I was stranded because of a fuel line that was not on all the way and my car was leaking fuel profusely. You live and you learn man. Luckily my lines were still ok, only took maybe 20 minutes to fix. Hopefully you’ll have the car back soon man! I know the feeling!!

The exhaust takes away from the whole supercharging... the sound of the supercharge is so nice....

actually, there is a little strap you pull in the backseat and the seat angles forward and then you can push the seat foward.

Hey Chris. Worked on the fuel injectors before, so I have a little bit of experience. They are very easy to angle incorrectly. Even a small degree off it will shoot out fuel. I suggest taking all the fuel injectors off and retorquing them down. Hope this helps!

Dude! When I did my turbo build on my tC, one of my o rings was ripped, i just smelled gas luckily I saved found it replaced it and done. Never had an issue with my build since, 6 years running. Also, when you put the serpentine belt back on, you can use a wire to pull the belt onto the pulley for an effortless install.

Hey man, the issue is gonna be the seating of the injectors. Almost happened to me. Luckily for me I caught it. Remove all your injectors and double check that you removed the oem rubber grommets where they seat(use a pick tool) After, double check the top part of rail, sometime oem o-ring gets stuck in there. Lastly, look for tears on top spacer of new injectors, when you bolt the rail down and twist the injectors, those rubber spacers tend to rip easily. Don’t stress, i doubt it’s something serious. I installed JacksonRacing SC on mine and troubleshoot everything good Then installed JDL turbo kit and everything went fine as well. I’m not mechanically inclined.

I was worried that that noise u heard when u tried to restart the engine was it hydro locking by having too much fuel just being dumped in the cylinder, that’s what I thought it was when u said the fuel circuit was stuck open, I’m glad it turned over again tho even if it didn’t start

Would not be a true boosting experience unless something went wrong along the way lol. Take your time with it.

If there's fuel leaking everywhere then the fuel injector connections aren't tight enough for when the engine is pressurized. Check for vacuum leaks to see exactly where the problem is.

you should put some silicone grease on the injector o-rings before installing them, made that mistake with my supercharged FR-S as well.

New set of spark plugs should do it, overfuel is common when changing injectors. Hks ones should do the trick

Sooo lucky that fuel didn’t ignite that was leaking. When I saw the O ring fall off when you removed the rail I was biting my teeth. Glad it’s okay though man.

That smoke was probably just unburnt fuel finding its way into the exhaust and burning off. Without that rubber grommet on the end of the injector that cylinder probably wasn’t making much, if any, compression so it wasn’t igniting the air/fuel mixture. A bunch of air would be introduced into that bank also so that could be why you got the lean code. All part of the process, we’ve all been there 🤙

At least you didn’t do what I did, installed my Jackson supercharger and I mixed up the feed and return line and blew the supercharger

After everything gets dialed up you should take the time and pressure wash the engine bay and shine it up for b roll

So you really just have to narrow it down to: 1) Fuel 2) spark 3)compression. Are you getting enough fuel pressure AT the injectors? Is the tune file correct? Any other ideas? The engine is still perfectly fine as long as you don't hammer on it while getting ecu tuned.

I've made a MILLION dumb mistakes like this. LOL. The good ones are the ones that don't cost you money.

bro when i was installing my kit i thought injectors would kill me first.. though it has been fine so far instead my belt didnt line up well and got a toasted belt ( i saved it tho but burnt it a bit)
