Maybe she couldn't help herself? Maybe she wanted to be friends with Lena just as Superman was once friends with Lex. She just couldn't...idk help it. She just didn't realize that by doing so she was going to hurt her and herself in the process. She did wanted to say something, but the 100 ep showed us what will happened if she did tell her an advance. Lena was better off not knowing. Plus, this is something Lena has to learn how to overcome. Her best friend earlier Andrea Rojas betrayed her....Now, Kara. She had to go through that to learn through it. I hope I'm making a tad bit sense here. Sometimes we just can't help who we choose as our friends. Those people are just destined just for us....And Lena....well...yeah.. Also, don't get me wrong...I hated how they said that Kara not telling Lena the truth is ONE mistake. I wish that they would have said A mistake. She made A mistake not ONE. But oh well...Fun seeing Melissa bump tho

Preach on same here still piss why they made it seem that it was Lena's cult when all of them is at fault ,just becos of love so she accepted to help and beg for forgiveness and kara will always be kara ha.

I don’t know. I personally feel like Kara’s intentions were all good. She wanted to be Lena’s friend, she just, surpassed the appropriate window of time to tell Lena as soon as the Supergirl Kryptonite incident happened. But it was definitely killing her inside to not tell Lena. I know Kara definitely messed up, too. Her decisions were selfish in the end because she wanted Lena to love her even when she was at odds with Supergirl. But it wasn’t just Kara who messed up, Lena did, too. She wanted to make Kara hurt; Kara never wanted that for Lena. I know Lena was really hurt by the reveal, but she went down a dark path and everything she did from then on was strategic, calculated. She made Kara hurt, too. She succeeded. Not just physical pain either. I’ll give the example. At the Fortress, Kara was crying, practically hyperventilating. Lena locked her in the ice with kryptonite but Kara barely even reacted to the Green K. Her emotional pain surpassed her physical pain; which is absolutely insane, by the way, since she described kryptonite as feeling your flesh seared off your bones and like nails are running through your blood. So I can understand that Kara definitely messed up, but please don’t read all her actions as hostile. She always had good intentions. Lena, however, did not. I’m not saying either is worse or better. They both messed up majorly and things are going to be awkward (maybe, who knows cw, really) for a little while, but please don’t just pin everything on Kara.

@@mandy2917 I know that in the beginning, Kara had good intentions, and I can respect that. She saw someone who was lonely, closed off, and hurting and wanted to do what she always does...help. Completely understandable and reasonable. But what is it they say about intentions and the road to Hell? Season 2 was all about Kara connecting to Lena, and Lena connecting to Kara. Kara standing up to her entire friend group in defense of Lena, even when logically it made no sense to. And finally in the Season 2 finale, referring to Lena as someone she loves. Enter Season 3. Regardless of whether we can chalk this up to the writers on this show not knowing their own characters and history, Kara for some reason, when she found out Lena had kryptonite, even if it was to help a mutual friend, completely turned on her "best friend" in her heart, if not in actions. 1. Ordering James to break into Lena's lab (because she didn't trust her) 2. Telling James that she knew if Lena found out she had been lying, she would lump her in with everyone else who had betrayed her. 3. Using the Luthor name against her in the dream world when Lena asked her "What's your real name?" I could go on, but here is my point. I just want Kara to own ALL of her mistakes. Lena made plenty of mistakes, but most, if not all of these, were after she was told be Lex. For Lena, this was her first and ONLY experience with what she thought was a loving family; a friend that she thought would ALWAYS be there for her; someone whom she loved with any condition or reservation, and thought that feeling was returned. Only to be told everything you had been told, and shown, was a lie. She didn't just have her heart broken, she had her SOUL broken. I cannot and will not excuse Lena's actions, but I think I can understand them. I just hope that if we do get a Season 6, they actually take the time to address the pain both of these women felt and inflicted on each other. Not holding my breath though.
