Paul your adventure is amazing, I am working on my commercial license in Utah, USA and I have been following your journey since the first episode. I am so excited to see the Costa Rica video since that is my home country! You guys rock, keep charging and flying low! YEW!

Hi Paul, I am a SEP&Paraglider Pilot myself and have been following you since a few years. Tried not to watch your Videos, as they are so good that I would be tempted to do something similar myself. Really looking forward to your trip down south! Are you thinking of takling all those Miles vfr? The issue with the heating system is that the heat comes from the exhaust heat exchanger, you learned how the system works during your basic training. I would get that checked while you are still in Mexico to avoid any issues during flight even if its just a mechanical issue (Heat On/OFF Switch). Co poisoning is a dangerous thing to play with, as you learned during your basic training. The Cub is maybe not so prone to issues of this sort, as the cabin has lots of Air-vents and lets lots of air in, but as I can tell (by you saying that you got to much warm air in the cockpit) that tells me that your getting to much air from the heatexchanger, and that could be a a warning for bigger problem, don’t forget that the exhaust air contains CO that i toxic, if there is a tear in the system you could get poisoning even if the redbull can is there to prevent air from coming from the engine compartement. Don’t know what your background is but CO is something you dont smell and see. Anyway your the PiC and I am not a mechanic, just a well ment advice.

Love following you on this awesome trip. Hope your dream comes true and I wish you all the best. Do you guys have a CO warner on board? If you have a problem with the heating you should be really carefull with CO poisoning.

Thanks for following! The problem was only the 'switch' to turn heating on and off. In this case it was just not possible to turn it off anymore. Now it's always off and so far it was never too cold;)

It's done! We have arrived in Ushuaia, Argentina. I'll start working on more vlogs as soon as I have some more time.. Just couldn't do it anymore while flying down south ✌🏼
