Encouraged by the enthusiastic reception of my latest Component videos, I’ve upscaled some videos of my machines in use.

I was in London for a week. I got my wife to let me go. She was amazed at the place. The most truly British place left. We went to the downtown branch. Advice, two cabs got lost. Walk up the street to the Hotel to call a cab. Worth the trip.

I LOVE IT! Wish I was in the UK to play, meet Tim in person, and get his autograph. Tim, you are an inspiration to every man who enjoys tinkering with mechanical things. I personally take everything apart to see how it works.

Thank you. Valves (coils) can be as piloted vs direct acting. The piloted version usually need a minimum of 35psi to operate reliably where a direct acting has a larger coil to not need the supply air. Thank you for your work. So many machines in the world and not nearly enough people to look after them. Also valves can be double acting with a coil on opposite ends. This allows the spool to be stopped in the middle. This will stop the cylinder mid stroke. Finally this center position can block the air or vent it to fix or float the piston.

@@1schwererziehbar1 Where did you get that nugget of info from? The video has a 2022 copyright notice at the end, and in Tim’s video he posted last week (Prototypes) he states (at 22:44) he made the machine last summer. I went to Southwold back in October and played the machine with my son, great fun…. And if you had ever been on the pier stuck out in the North Sea on a cold blustery autumn day you would understand the hat!
