Join us as we stay at the Margaritaville Island Hotel at The Island, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, during our first visit to the area! In this video, I show you our fountain view deluxe room, with day and night views of the beautiful dancing Island Show Fountains, a lovely swim in the pool and hot tub with gorgeous views of the Smoky Mountains, The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel and the fountain! We enjoy the cozy fireplace in our room, check out the lobby and coffee shop, walk around The Island, and eat at Mellow Mushroom Pizza! In the wrap up I give my review and thoughts about the stay as well. This video is a companion to my vids of our full day exploring Pigeon Forge and The Island, and my video of our first ever visit to Dollywood, to show you where we stayed as we visited these wonderful Smoky Mountain tourist attractions!

This is where we stayed during our visits to Pigeon Forge & Dollywood (those vids are up already if you haven't seen them yet)! The views, the vibe, the location, all perfect!! This is the last Tennessee vid for this trip (but more will be coming for future trips), after this we have 2 more states coming with cool new places we visited!! Great videos! Hope you go back to see the Gaitlinburg attractions, tour the national park, and then go to Cherokee and Asheville, NC in the future. So many awesome places! Definitely need to go to the Biltmore estate and Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville area. So many great places as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway and mountains separate from Great Smoky Mountains National Park!!

Some recommendations for when you go back are definitely downtown Gatlinburg - lots of fun tourist attractions and restaurants, the Inn at Christmas Place - a BEAUTIFUL year round themed christmas hotel and a HUGE amazingly themed christmas store across the street from it. There are also multiple themed dinner shows, a tropical bird sanctuary/park , the titanic museum/exhibit is really incredible, multiple mountain coasters - there is an insane amount to do in that area not to mention lots of outdoor activities and hiking trails. Definitely plenty to do when you go back!

It's absolutely beautiful and you can have the best of both worlds. I prefer a cabin 10-15 minutes away from pigeon forge in n Wears Valley. Secluded with a beautiful mountain view where it's very quiet and peaceful.. Then there's soooo much different things to do in Gatlinburg, pigeon forge, sieverville and the cades cove scenic view 11 mile loop... I love it there since 1973

This was a great hotel! I stayed on riverside but thinking I should have stayed on fountain side! That balcony view was so nice! The rooftop pool and hot tub were the best and yes, we sat up there with drinks to watch the fountain shows! The Island is such a cool place. I hope to return!

I've been wanting to take my wife to Dollywood and stay at the Dollywood hotel for so long. But seeing these videos makes me think that Pigeon Forge is the place to be! This town looks awesome! Love these vlogs! 👍👌

Loved the videos and so happy you loved East TN. Next time you need to try to make it up to Gatlinburg and if you like nature, take a picnic lunch to Cades Cove. So much history and beauty there. Beware, there are days where it is walk or bike only. Another cool thing to do is the Smokey Mtn Firefly viewings. Safe Travels!

You need to go up to the top of the park an see the view of the mountains from the top. It's breathtaking especially in the fall.

The Island is so awesome especially at night. Pigeon Forge /Gatlinburg is my number one favorite vacation place. Go to Parrot Mountain and do an Alpine Coaster at Goats on the Roof. Laurel Falls for a nice little hike. Breakfast at Sawyers.

What a cool concept for a motel, to put you right in the middle of all the action! So cool that so many attractions are just in walking distance from your room. Cool fact.... The seaplane in that picture is the Hemisphere Dancer that is at the Margaritaville outside bar at Universal Citywalk. Cool history with Jimmy and Bono from U2 on that plane. Awesome video. Thank you
