Even though Michael Keaton's Batman was without a doubt the highlight of The Flash, Sasha Calle's Supergirl was definitely up there with him and turned out to be a lot better than i expected, she really won me over and delivered a solid performance. I hope we get to see more of her in the future and she gets a solo movie under her belt, she deserves it.

clark kent and kara zor el are completely different people and characters with different life experiences/childhoods. thats the dumbest comparison ive ever seen. kara has always been apathetic towards humankind and has always been brash, emotional, angry, and violent (killing isnt a problem for her) unlike clark who lives for humankind and holds back his powers, avoids killing as much as possible, has better control voer his emotions, etc.

I suppose it helps that she's a tortured, alternate-universe version of Supergirl. So the whole point of her is to be a twist on the original character, and nobody really expects her to be _the_ Supergirl we all know. After her introduction as someone unexpected, it's more interesting to see where you can spot similarities with the canonical version in such a character, but you don't expect her to be spot-on.

Remember in the comic book,Flashpoint paradox which is what the movie is based on. Kal-el is kept locked up out of the yellow sun until being rescued. He is very frail and not too confident. Then the Kara Zor-el character has the appearance of Lara Kent from the Injustice Gods among us story arc. Hope this helps everyone. Having somecomic book knowledge helps every now and then

Jar EL Ship with the Jar EL AI would of healed her lack of sunlight problem. Even then by herself against the whole kryptonian army with zod and faora and the big guy…… supergirl would probably still lose. The two flashes and batman with the human american army no help for supergirl. In Man of Steel… superman beat zod after the kryptonian army was back in phantom zone. If zod had faora the big guy and the kryptonian army I don’t believe Superman would of won then.

The Flash movie has its pros and cons, but obviously Sasha Calle as Supergirl broke it (despite the little screen time she has ❤💙) I hope she stays with her character in the new James Gunn DCU and that she is in the movie Woman of Tomorrow, I have faith that she could stay 🙏😢🙏

By default. The 84’ Supergirl and the CW are just awful. Her character didn’t feel complete but she at least felt like her own person in this film and not a female clark kent rip-off. I hope Sasha Calle will get to be Supergirl again but with more nuanced writers.

The problem is that people aren't critical enough so when they see a female superhero it's either OH THEY'RE GREAT BECAUSE WOMAN, or NO SHE'S TRASH because of feminism. Not enough people think critical enough about what makes a female superhero work and great and what doesn't. There's potential with Supergirl and Sasha Calle is the right actress even if she doesn't exactly fit the comic book look desired but she can give her an actual personality so all they need are writers that truly understand and willing to put time into fleshing out Kara Zor-El. Not push an agenda, not make a female Clark Kent, but The True Supergirl and we got a glimpse of that ever so briefly.

It's nice to see a new face playing Supergirl and she's gorgeous to boot. I don't mind that she hasn't got long, blonde hair like the previous incarnations of Supergirl. I haven't seen the whole film but by the looks of it she makes it worth watching. It's nice to see Michael Keaton back as Batman aswell, a really underrated actor who's always good to watch.

Captain Marvel who can overwhelm Thanos to the point where he needed to use the power stone to amplify his strength to take her out vs The suited Zod victim, who's much weaker than Zod without the suit because he isn't absorbing the yellow sun.

I think Captain Marvel is stronger than the Krytonian species becuz more the heat vision will be blasted at her, the energy absorption ability will make her more stronger and a force to be reckoned with.

To bad Brie Larson is an unbearable bitch, and her character was written far to powerful for the MCU to the point where they literally had to write her out of Endgame. Supergirl’s strength is on par with the rest of the DC hero’s. And Sasha Calle is far more likable than Larson.
