Robert downy Junior did that, he would sneak snacks on set and the crew gave up confiscating it as it fit Tony Stark as a character, the scene where he is snacking and talking is fully Robert taking the wheel and the rest of the cast going with it.

@@jyvben1520 Eidetic means you never forget anything you seen, heard, touched, tasted, smelt, thought, said etc etc. It's like the mythical photographic memory on steroids. It's canon that solar juiced kryptonians have it. So it's more of a plot hole. I get why they did it; to reintroduce characters while keeping focus on supergirl...but it's a poor idea lol

If you're looking for an in-universe answer Kara was taking pains all through this crossover not to freak out her new friends who might not be used to having Kryptonians around. Taking a couple of passes to 'remember' everyone would be right in line with that (though nothing holds a candle to her 'are you SURE about that' reaction to Oliver telling her not to hold back ;-) ). In reality of course it's a genuinely creative way to get the audience up to speed with characters they may not know and gives Melissa an excuse if she stumbles on anything seeing as how the crossovers are ridiculously busy for the main cast.
