Blaed13 lol Sara is the worst possible rebound for Alex, probably why Alex was so devastated afterwards when contemplating her future.

Why is sara the worst? Do you not like her? is it because there was a rebound at all? or that it was so soon? I'm open to talking about this civilly, cause i totally get the anger over this scene. But i also understand why people like it. I personally think it's problematic, but i also like it. so i'm kinda in both camps right now, depending on how they handle things tonight. Alex is devastated because she made a messy decision for uncertain reasons that changed the course of her life, and maggie's. Maggie and all her love were not enough for Alex. of course she's upset. of course she doubts her decision. but i think sleeping with a random beautiful girl was something an emotionally compromised alex would do.

Blaed13 it was the fact that she was a rebound in general. Alex seems like the type who thoroughly enjoys relationships and not just a revolving door of women. I don't hate the scene in any regard but seeing how Alexs is portrayed she isn't the one night stand type at all and we know exactly what Sarah is about lol. I'm actually pretty happy they decided not to go further with it (for now anyways).

ok, that makes sense. and yeah, alex doing that was probably 70% sadness 30% scotch. like, they did make the point that this was not 'normal' alex behaviour, but the choice of an alex who's 'in a tail spin'. Like, there's nothing wrong with having a healthy one night stand to rebound, but it's not really the alex we know. To be fair to her, she's never done that before. And yeah, i want sara to help alex through this huge blip in her life, but nothing long term. I'm gonna be honest, i still ship sara and nyssa so hard it's not even healthy anymore. But i have hope for them lol. But i eventually want alex to find somebody. and, yeah, sara is never gonna be that person for alex. From sara's perspective, alex was probably just another fun night, and hopefully they'll part as friends. to go back to Maggie's initial hesitation about being with alex, she doesn't know who she is yet, really. she's a baby gay trying new and terrifying and awesome things, this time it was sara. Maggie was great for alex, and i believe they could've worked out their problems if the creative team wanted them to, but they chose to sink the sanvers ship with a torpedo of bullshit and hasty writing. like, maggie's absence could easily be explained and have her still be with alex. but other than her relationship with maggie, she needed to figure herself out a little, and that may mean trial and error.

Read Legion of 3 Worlds - You'll find Dawn Allen and her husband, with daughter Jenni, SWITCHED Earth's. So Jenni CAN be Barry's granddaughter AND be on Supergirl's Earth, and with the Legion. Additionally, there was an XS story of her meeting Barry for the first time, and she acted very much like the caterer girl did in the episode. Plus that trade mark XS ponytail...

Ok... first of all, Dawn is a her, not a his. Don is the his. Dawn and Don. And where Dawn goes, I'd imagine Don did too. So where was he? And as I said, it could be EITHER Dawn or Jenni. I personally lean towards Jenni. And yes, The Flash has blended story-lines. That doesn't automatically make it Dawn. It's still an either one choice, or a neither choice (neither Dawn nor Jenni).

The other Arrowverse shows usually go straight to the point. They don't drag things out like in Supergirl. Some people only watch the shows for the "gay", I get that, but for most of us it's just a small part of the story. This is a crossover with multiple main character. The Alex/Sarah dynamic was great, but not the main story. =)

It's only a small part, but seeing the characters from the different shows interact with each other is the major attraction of these crossovers. However, I think it's difficult for them to balance so many characters at once, which is why I kind of prefer the two-show crossovers. But overall it was a very enjoyable episode. Also I don't only watch for the gay, I'm also here to see them kick ass ;)

Leigh Silver there is a very good comic called Red Son where Clark crashed in Russia instead of Kansas. There is also an earth-x in the comics. The creators of superman and their heirs didn't object to either story.

Superman fought Nazis in the late 30s and early 40s shortly after the character was created. His adventures began during WWII so it wasn't in poor taste at all.

GreenMachine in the new 52, superman's pod crashed in Germany and he helped the nazis win the war. In the preflashpoint version, Germans developed the atomic bomb first. Even though these shows are loosely based on the new 52 they went with the original version... if you google earth x superman you can see clark with a swastika on his chest...

If you knew anything about the alternate Earths in the comics you’d know that there are multiple Earths where the Germans unfortunately prevailed, and your favorite hero Supes helps them in one instance
