Nice setup,but i'm still partial to the halogen rotating lightbars like you had previously. I'm just old school i guess,but i love the Code 3 MX7000 lightbars lol.

I'm a big fan of hockey pucks for lightbar mounts.....Rubber adds a bit of vibration dampening, and their diameter is enough to be stable even when stacking 2 or more for height as needed. Great video. Sweet upgrade package to bring an older rig into the modern age......

That's an excellent idea. I'll have to remember that.

@@MNDashcam ya, they have a multitude of uses, and are dirt cheap in bulk. Google ''hockey pucks''....buck a piece or less if you buy in bulk. Love your channel......

I would have hooked the alley lights to the switch that did the intersectors. That way if you’re at an angle to the road with the rear lighting on, the alley lights are not shining into vehicles passing. Not really a fan of the flood on the corners, it takes away your warning when they are on. Leaves you to rely the midlevel you have, as everything on the bar will be washed out by the work lights when on. Having had them, I would rather have the corners flash than the little bit of extra light they throw off, which isn’t much. Compared to the dedicated work lights you have that are focused. I would have slowed the flash patterns down on everything too. Slower makes them easier to see and notice. I like the set up. You lucked out with the bar. I loved having the Liberty on a few of my patrol vehicles. If you REALLY want some back lighting, look for some SUPER takedowns for them. It’s 12 LED in each light. Same length as the LIN6 modules but it’s 6 of those TIR takedowns stacked on another 6. I bought them for one of my patrol vehicles and it was insane how bright they were. Made traffic stops much nicer. They would make awesome work lights. Good job though!

You can run red that would be really nice to have liberty in half red and half amber And from my experience, change the ION pattern, split are the worse since they kill half of the light output and from some distance they looks steady, and intersection lights pattern have to be little slower And no white to rear, they are extremely dangerous and they blind people at night time, purpose of these lights are to warn people not to blind them, white on front and sides are fine but not to rear

Very clean install! Nice how the lights and cameras are synced for seamless use. We are blessed to have way better LED lights in recent years, old hazed out incandescent lights are useless by comparison. Stay safe out there, lots of impaired drivers and bone heads on the road would crash into the sun if given the opportunity and claim they never saw it coming

I'm about to post another quick vid of the lights at night. They turned out very nice.

Definitely a lot of bonehead drivers. The camera system is a good insurance policy and a great content generator!

Yeah, Whelen or Federal is all I would buy

Imo, soundoff are more reliable than whelen and FS,

I've never had any issues with whelen
@mrad.134 ай бұрын
@thunderbear0 they are a good brand as well. City, County run them here. I think the SoundOff bar is maybe better than whelen.. Federal has the best rotating light with the SLR. Whelens roto-beam is cool but the SLR is king.

I would of put 2 more intersectors on the front instead of those cheap Amazon lights
