In a repeat of last year's Final, the two current giants of Gridball clash yet again
Willesden are the defending Champions and bidding for a record fourth title. They've dominated Gridball in recent years, winning three of the last four competitions in 1957, '59 & '60 Now they could win three in a row.
Ann Hanslip and Margaret Rees have played in every winnings side and will be the first to win four Supergrid Broaches. Only two of their team are making their first appearance.
Liverpool are in a record sixth final, but won only the first one in 1951. Since then they've lost four Supergrids in a row, including last year. Janet Horsbrough and Emma Keho-Sim have played in all of those Supergrids and are set to make a record sixth appearance each, while Sally Jellicoe is the only player to have lost three Supergrids without having ever won one. They will court the identical seven as they did last year.
