This is so odd, but these characters actually feel alive instead of just basic horror game characters. Their personalities, their stories, their lingo. It all feels so real and I don't usually see that in horror games lmao.

The idea of a game set on an oil rig is utterly horrifying and brilliant. Tiny cramped spaces, there's only so far you can go, and no matter what you're isolated in the middle of the ocean,

Scottish voice actors make me so happy, cause is this is just how we normally speak 😅 the swearing, the thick accent, everything! It's brilliant and it sounds so natural and not like a generic character they talk so comfortably with eachother.

Rennick: I don’t care if it feels funny drill through! Me: Okay bad news everyone the boss just decided to kill us all

The monsters in this game make me nervous. It sort of reminds me of the Outlast villains. You just want to hide from them forever and dread having to actually keep going. 😖

Ooh, the atmosphere of this game is incredible. The dev really worked hard to set the scene with good voice acting and the fact that it's more dread-style and not jump-scare style is so great. I actually like that the puzzles are somewhat simple, it's more realistic than "find all of the parts of this statue to unlock the basement".

One other note - I love that the captions "translate" for those of us who don't know all the Scottish lingo. Thank you for that, devs!

I'm not afraid of heights, but seeing the character having to "behave like a daredevil" brings shivers down my spine.

Everyone is talking about the scares, but the CHARACTERS! You actually feel connected with them, like old friends turning into monsters and feeling the despair of not knowing which friend you'll see, is they're dead or alive! It's such a good game and it really makes the game feel like true horror

This does give off a feeling of being realistic which I think makes it scarier. Plus, the monster design was terrifying and you would have to feel bad for Trotts (I think that was his name). I wonder who else will live and if there's a way to fight back or if it's going to be hiding and running. At least the puzzles are quick enough to solve and don't take forever like in some games. I wouldn't mind seeing a part two to this one. It's terrifying, but in a good way like a good horror game should

Hearing the corrupted people talking and begging for help was I think the most unsettling thing about this game, they still had their minds intact somehow for the most part and were utterly terrified and suffering. No way to help them, and no way for them to stop themselves from killing the others, while they likely had absolutely no control over what was left of their bodies.. Really creepy and gut wrenching Either way, I REALLY want to see how this game ends, it's so well made. Like others have said, the characters feel alive and hearing them die pulls at your heart since you can't help, and the scenery and monster designs are amazing

I'd probably turn around too if i saw an NF-plastered cabin. Seriously, I love the voice acting and the banter, it's top-tier. It's nice to get some gruff among-colleagues talk portrayed accurately.

Not Scottish but from the UK and this Horror game is absolute Peak. The characters don't feel like generic horror game NPC's to simply interact with or do quests for that dont elude to the story. They feel like actual people in a way, the voice actors and the developers did a amazing job. People who aren't from the UK might find it hard to understand slang or culture differences and that might take away from the story a tiny bit for them but i guess it's expected when you set a story in any part of the world.

I just wanna say I think this game is interesting. I like how the characters interactions at the beginning show how close they all are which made me feel bad about what's happening to all of them. In other games I'd only care about the closest friends of the protag but here they all seem close that even if they were only shown briefly in the start, I wish they could be saved as well. I watched this earlier on a phone withouit logging in so I'm here to comment and leave a like now that I'm logged on. I had just noticed the next part posted, too lol. You should 100% keep playing this it makes me wonder so much but i love it! It give syou wonder on who is next and make su hope ur not next so it gives you sup sense while scaring you to death , it has someone i can hate but someone i like it adds to the wonder and life going on the boat ( even tho its not a boat-.-) but it gives me the creeps with body horror and such! I never saw a game like this that gives me deep creeps but coolness! Keep playing its amazing!

It's crazy how graphics have gotten to the level of (excluding humans) it almost looks like real life 19:45 its just a small detail but having our player character not react and seemingly zone out makes them feel more real. It also makes sense given the fact Caz fell into freezing water and just woke up 21:03 either Raffs is fighting something or thats not him. Those screams don't sound very human...
