Please, dont say it is free. All Certification Course are 180+ hours to take and only first month is fee than it is $39. So, it is not free.

Courses aren't free, most of them are led to the Coursera site where they ask for payment to enroll. Please provide full information 🙏

It is just $40 monthly for full Coursera courses. That is a gift. Now they have the Google Data Analyst Advanced and Google Cybersecurity .

Free great first course is the CSS by Harvard. It’s really free and you won’t regret it. But it’s not that easy

My son is taking the Google Certification as a Data Analyst and it was NOT free. The first week was free for you to try out the platform and then you have to start paying monthly. It’s the only way to actually get a certificate by Google at the end.

I checked out the first SQL for Data Science and get sent to the Coursera site. 7 day free trial then $39 a month. So how is this course or courses free? I looked at the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate and this was basically $49 per course x 8 courses.

I followed your steps and ended up with audit the course - free access but no certification or pay 39$ a month. How is it free then? How does one trust you when you advertise as free a course that can cost unknown amount of money. A waste of real time.

What are the job search sites that are verified? My mom recently ALMOST got scammed. Luckily she's a smart woman and caught on before losing any money, but the scammers did an entire interview process, second interview process and then sent her a check expecting her to spend money on supplies and wanted to be reimbursed for the rest. EITHER way, it was her first attempt at trying for a remote job from Linkedin, and now she's very discouraged.

I was eagerly applying for jobs in Google till early 2023. But after I change my decision. I will never join Google. It's not a trust worthy company. These companies are very insensitive towards employees. Better to do jobs in stable companies.

Yes, please! We need a video for data analysis and LinkedIn. I have looked myself, but even those job adverts advertised as "Trainee Data Analyst" state "previous experience is beneficial". In this way, even if one person out of 20 applies with previous experience, the rest 19 of us have no chance. Also, thank you very much for the quotation (" ") information. I do not normally use them and indeed when I type Trainee Data Analyst, the results I am presented with include various trainee, data, and analyst roles. :D

Google laid off +/-12,000 at the beginning of 2023. Shortly after, CEO Sundar Pichai indicates that GOOG will focus on hiring cheaper, overseas labor. While Tech is probably going to have growth & higher paying jobs for the long-term, it's important to spend your time & money wisely on certifications / training. With Ai being able to allow White -collat workers to be more productive, don't think that equates to better pay....in the corp world, they always get hard-ons for the 'do more with less' mantra. That always means YOU do more, YOU get less. Not them. Always remember: YOU are also allowed to be a Capitalist.

I was referred to someone that teaches a 3 month course but the cost is $5k. I don’t question it’s worth it but at the time I don’t have the $5k to spare. Started following you as a result. Thank you for the informative video. I have a question regarding my enrollment in a Data Science certificate program. While the program is focused on Data Science and its applications, it's not provided by Google itself but rather by an external institution (SimplyLearn). In this case, will my certification be granted by SimplyLearn rather than Google? Thanks in advance

I don't think SimplyLearn is the producer of the content, they like to jump in and pretend they are in several other courses as well. That way they get your email and a piece of the action .They did that with Harvard, but edx has a formal relationship with Harvard, SimplyLearn inserts there brand name as if they are the course creator . Edx and Harvard are real partners is my understanding . The certification is a Google Certification , that is where the value is. ... 🙂

In India MOST recruiters don't value google certificate. infact ONLINE certifications have NO value here, I have the full Google UX certificate and a series of Projects, I have been rejected for BULLSHIET reasons 2 of the HR's afterwards told me , they have been ordered to directly reject Online certificate candidates. some Recruiters have FUN test interviews, some Companies like to Tease, Some only Want Women, There are variety of loads of bullshiet HERE... *The real WORK is not even upto that standard by which these fukers write job descriptions* _Also getting a job In India is Hard because OBVIOUSLY the population in so much, Companies have SHETLOAD of options, may be someone will work for lower wage OR no wage_ _That is the ground reality, people will do anything for that Experience section in their RESUME_

Really informative, but IT IS NO LONGER FOR FREE! Or at least NOT for the Netherlands. Google charges €44,00 per month to follow a class.

If you don’t mind using the 7 day free trial and then creating a second account it gives you more time to finish the course. Once you start making money you can come back and pay for the course if you want.

You most likely are not getting jobs let alone 100k jobs with a google certificate alone. You need experience in the field or a degree. This should be seen as an add-on to your existing or growing skills. Don't be fooled
