He’s actually talking about something I find very relatable. I spent my life working to get where I am today. At where I am now, I feel lost because it’s not what I expected and I don’t know where to go from here but everyone has an idea of how I am or how I should be or what the role should look like. I’m actually thankful he wrote this song because it reminds me that it’s a temporary feeling and I’m not alone. Muhly also happens to be a type of plant I have a soft spot for so everything he’s doing in hitting bullseye for me. Congratz once again on this big step forward. Hyukjae must’ve been through a lot of hardships during the pandemic and gets really frustrated and stressful about not able to do things that he likes and to pursue his own dreams.
