This song is actually a mashup of the two songs Monster and Infinity from the album they released with this song. All three songs are great.

If you think of “Tiger Inside” as an homage to EXO’s “Wolf” (especially choreo), then this is definitely an homage to SHINee’s “Sherlock (Clue + Note)” being two songs combined into one. They also added in a little “Lucifer” hand twist choreo move if you were paying close attention.

This is my favorite SuperM track. I’m also one of those who prefer the combination of the two songs (there’s a reason why they do these things!). The vocals are really stellar on this. Call me weird if you want, but I much prefer Taemin and Ten as singers rather than dancers, and the vocals from everyone are great. Baekhyun is…, well, Baekhyun, Mark does his usual fantastic job, and Taeyong is absolutely phenomenal.

Yay my favourite SuperM title track! Although I normally listen to Infinity on its own (One is a mashup of two songs) because Infinity’s intro is by far my favourite song intro ever. It’s one of those ‘I have to repeat this at least 3 times before I continue the song’ kind of intros. From the bridge onwards One definitely takes it tho.

Fun fact: If you know some of SHINee's song history, you might notice several references to iconic SHINee moments within SuperM's "One (Monster & Infinity)". For instance, SHINee has a song called "Sherlock (Clue & Note)," which was created by combining two songs from SHINee's Sherlock album, "Clue" and "Note", to create their title track "Sherlock." Just like how "One (Monster & Infinity)" takes two songs, "Monster" and "Infinity," from SuperM's album to create their title track "One" on their Super One album. (The beat switches up because it's a mashup of the two songs. If you check out the album, you will be able to hear the two songs individually and see how they were combined to create "One.") In the MV, when they are wearing the green outfits the choreography is supposed to be monster-like, where the military uniforms and bright clothing represent "Infinity". Also, as the SuperM members made reference to during their press conference for the release of their album, one of the parts of the "One (Monster & Infinity)" choreography uses a finger movement that is very reminiscent of an iconic part of SHINee's "Lucifer" choreography.

SuperM was amazing but having missed them I don't think you can go wrong getting well into SHINee, EXO and NCT to make up for it! The bit at the end with Taemin and the phone was the very first teaser for Aespa's debut btw
