NCT is divided into 4 sub units: Nct U: nct universal is not a permanent group of persons as it is interchangeable based on whoever fits the concept. Nct 127: 127, is the longitude coordinate of the city of Seoul so this fixed sub unit was named after that and they comprise of 9 members. Nct Dream: this sub unit consists of 7 members and was initially designed for the youngies in the group then as nct obviously didn't start with 23 members from the get go Way v: This sub unit is the Chinese unit and they sing in Chinese. They consists of 6 members Currently cause lucas 😔 has left the group. When I first heard about nct, I thought I could never know them all and everything was a bit confusing at first but after I took my time to get to know them, I was able to tell who was who and also understand everything about the group within 2 days. Most popular members are: Jaehyun, Jaemin, Mark, Taeyong, Ten and Lucas. Ten is the best dancer in the group. He is Thai and also friends with Lisa. He is multilingual and very talented. Mark is the most active member of nct as he is in almost every group. Infact, I'd say Mark is the most active kpop idol I know. He is also nct's best rapper Taeyong is the leader of the group, Face of the group and center. As you can see his visuals are breathtaking and he is very talented The English speaking members are: Mark (he is Canadian), Johnny (American), Yangyang, Ten, and Jaehyun ( tho not as fluent as the others but he was in the US for four years). Taeyong is really trying too as he learns English very well. It is very hard to pick a bias in nct but I can easily say my bias in Dream is Jaemin and I really have a soft spot for Ten but in general, it is really hard for me to pick a bias as all of them are captivating. As for who made me know about Nct, it was Taeyong but Winwin got me into Nct. Nct is really a fun and chaotic group that you should explore more.

As a confirmation, to help you identify the members, using the still image at the end of the "Tiger Inside" MV, from left (as you may already know): > Lucas was a former rapper and visual of WayV/NCT-U, he is Chinese-Thai from Hong Kong; > Ten is the main dancer and a lead vocalist from WayV/NCT-U, he is Thai; > Baekhyun is a main vocalist of EXO and the leader of SuperM, he is Korean; > Taemin is the main dancer and a lead/main vocalist from the legendary group SHINee, as well as one of the most popular solo artists, he is Korean; > Taeyong is a main rapper, main dancer and the leader of NCT (he is part of NCT-127/NCT-U), he is Korean; > Kai is the main dancer, a lead vocalist, sub-rapper and center of EXO, he is Korean; > Mark is a main rapper and main dancer of NCT (NCT-127, NCT-U and NCT-Dream), he is Korean-Canadian. Yes, I think it's supposed to give you "Wolf" vibes. I think that the "Tiger Inside" MV may be connected to EXO's "Wolf" MV. In "Wolf" we see that EXO are a wolf pack that is dressed in all white and they are inside an all white den or cave, just like the SuperM members who are dressed in all white and are in a white cave/the tigers lair in "Tiger Inside." And in "Wolf" the choreography was designed to make the EXO members look like they are wolves or beasts, where in "Tiger Inside" the choreography was also designed to make them look like beasts or tigers. Fun fact: That breakout dance move with Taeyong and Mark in the choreography, doesn't just go along with the beat, but when you watch the dance practice you will see it's supposed to be Taeyong trying to assert his dominance and battle with Mark. Taeyong elbows Mark in the head, which causes him to stumble, then Taeyong pushes him away with his hand (i.e. paw), which causes Mark to spin around to face Taeyong and then Taeyong raises his claws above his head and strikes out at Mark to cause Mark to step away, etc. I think they are supposed to look like tigers preparing for battle with the Red Force, so they are practicing their fighting skills. The outfits they are wearing at the end are modern versions of traditional Korean outfits and blue, white and gold is usually royal colors that often indicates status and power. Nothing is "random." That end pose is similar to an image you often see in historical dramas or action movies as the heroes or main characters are getting ready for battle. It's all part of SuperM's storyline and it gives you a good chance to really look at them and get to know their faces better. So, this is just another reason why I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups. However, as you know, no one really knows what is happening for sure in SM's Universe storyline. It's all fan theories and educated guesses. SM has never confirmed nor denied any of our theories and they have never explained anything. They have left it up to the fans to interpret the story and connect the pieces. And what makes this even more difficult is the story isn't being told in chronological order, so as fans you have to pay attention to everything and remember what you have seen and heard in previous content in order to decide where each piece fits within the larger storyline. And, as you have seen, it's not just MVs, but it's with everything they do including teaser videos, concert VCRs (short videos played at concerts in between sets), live performances, song lyrics, online content released by SM, special extras included when you purchase an album, etc. It's super complex and all encompassing.

Then Sherlock ofc and other bangers are Replay, Don't Call Me, Everybody, Dream Girl and fan favorite Ring Ding Dong lol Just as a heads up: originally they were 5, sadly Jonghyun passed away in 2017 so now they're 4.
